I had gotten quotes from two different companies and I went with Best Buy. Sonos has a tremendous amount of free music available. Best Buy and the Geek Squad ended up substantially cheaper than the other company I got a quote from, which was $15,000 compared to Geek Squad's $7,000. I was very pleased with what they did. At one point, I couldn't get the Sonos product to work right. I stopped in at Best Buy to let them know I couldn't get it working. They had somebody out here the next day. They fixed the problem and told me what it was. Everything was fine. It took them less than 10 minutes to fix and I didn't have to pay for it. The whole system is fantastic.

After strictly using Best Buy for several years for all my family's electronic purchases, I am through.  At the begining of this year I had an issue with a TV, which was under an extended warranty which I had paid $200.00.  After well over a dozen phone calls, 3 scheduled but never met service appointments, and multiple emails, and a month of time, I was finally able to get the TV issue resolved.  Not learning my lesson I purchased an iPod Touch from the Best Buy store.  I considered Amazon, but thought since Best Buy had a local location, I would go with them if there were any issues.  Well, the iPod has an issue.  So I went to my local Best Buy on my lunch hour.  After waiting in line for 10 minutes I was asked if I had an appointment, no I did not.  Well, the next appointment would be an hour from the current time.  Unfortunately, I do not get a 3 hour lunch from my employer.  I simply do not understand why an appointment is needed to exchange an iPod.  I'm sure the techs are qualified people, but I doubt they were going to crack open the iPod and fix it there on the spot.  All of my future purchases will be through Amazon, at least then I'll not have any hope of personal interaction or customer service by an actual individual.  This is a big reason why Best Buy is dying a slow death, and good riddance.

As soon as I walked in to Best Buy I was greeted at the door. I walked straight back to where the Sd cards are and was completely confused as to what to get. I had no clue to what GB I would need for my GPS. One of the clerks there must have seen how confused I looked and came over to ask me if I needed help. He was very helpful and showed me what I need and how it inserts into my GPS. I left very happy and thank him again and again.
