DENNY'S SERVICE CTR

I have no complaint about the effectiveness of the repair, or the time it took to accomplish it. My gripe is that this guy really bleeds the customer, at least he did me. I was not anticipating anything like the bill I received. First, $75 for a simple code scan, which identified which of two sensors was failed. The charge for labor was steep, too. $70 for labor, which is definitely pretty rich for a 20 minute swap of the sensor. Simple job. But I'll swallow that. What I can't accept is his charge of $250 for the sensor. The sensor is available, retail, at Autozone for $90, and online for about $60. This shop no doubt gets the very best price for these components, so it's obvious he soaked me on this one. The cost for the new sensor installed was $447.50. Way, way, out of line, in my opinion. I would not recommend this shop, and do not ever intend to use it again.

Service completed in one day. The car continues to leak oil.

Spouse went to Urse Honda in Bridgeport to have the SRS warning light checked for the second time. Just like I told them the first time the seat belt buckle needed to be replaced. My spouse took it for this and to have the AC checked, it had just quit a few days earlier and we were planning a long trip and would need the AC. Urse's went on with our knowledge and found almost $4600 in repairs. I found Denny's on Angie's list and the accommodated us with in 48 hours to check out the dealer list of repairs and gave a bid of less that 1/2 of the dealers'. I gave them the go ahead to do the work and mentioned that we were planning a trip later in the week. The completed the work in about a day and 1/2. It was on budget except for having to replace the tie rod which broke when the struts were being replace. No big deal. Denny's is professional, courteous and fair. I do plan to have them change the timing belt and water pump before the WVU students return for fall semester.

Price-wise, Denny's Service Center were on the high side but they did a very good work.

Dennys performed the oil change and filter change, checked other fluids and replaced a outer tie rod that was worn. they called me to approve the work. all service was done correctly and professionally. They are always busy so make an appointment and things will go smoothly. They have fair pricing and there are not too many service shops left in Morgnatown.

I had been chasing a noise coming from the back of my Jeep after being hit on the rear passenger side. I had taken my vehicle to several mechanics with no success. I was sent to Denny's by one of these mechanics. Right away they noticed that the alignment HAD NOT been done when it was being repaired for the damages from the accident. Alignment was then done, but the noise was still there. They replaced the wheel bearing on the rear drivers side and aligned again. No more noise!!! These guys are great! They handled all the insurance billing and most importantly (to me) did not treat me like some dumb girl just hearing things! I will from this day forward go to Denny's Service Center for all my car maintenance.

They were friendly, efficient, called with an estimate, and completed the job in a timely manner.

Scheduled my appointment on three days notice and had the vehicle ready when I arrived to pick it up. Great service.

Archie (the front man of the business) was out due to surgery when I dropped off the truck. It was left for them to do on their schedule. They called with an estimate and got approval for repairs. Recommended repairs that were needed immediately and informed of repairs that would need done in the future. I've gone here for service numerous times over the last 3 years I've lived in Morgantown and had my car and my husbands truck serviced here. When we first moved here I wasn't sure who I could trust for reliable estimates and work. I asked around and they came recommended. I took my car to a handful of places the first time it needed something and Denny's Service Center was priced the same as the others. The location was extremely convenient for me so we've gone there ever since. At times they are extremely busy, so if you need something done fast make sure to ask when they will get to it so you aren't disappointed with turn over time. Over all a great small local business who I'm proud to support.
