+ -1 moreMr. Carter took ownership and authority to help us out 250% on a home that we wanted to sell quick, and at a high dollar. Home sold for over $700k when asking started at $725k. Everything he did was great, and he made sure that anyone that came in behind him, like the carpet installers, wouldn't screw up things after Mr. Carters professional job.
Description of Work: We were putting our home on the market to sell it. We knew of Caters Painting Professionalism and thats why we called him first. He took care of the primary reason to fix up Smoke Damage from a brand new malfunctioned kero heater. Cleaned the walls, for the second time, a previously started job which was substandard by a family member. Mr. Carter went threw and cut out the carpet and removed it so the carpet man wouldn't damage my walls. He saved me monies by mixing up a batch of paint that was mismatched with a previous job he had. Saving me approximately 70% on the materials. Mr. Carter went further and pulled all of the vents of the air conditioning system and sealed, as he had done with the walls, and then top coated with a pure white. Look better then new units, and save me monies. Mr. Carter also went through our house and advised us how to repair PROPERLY other items, or gave us good referrals. We sold our home on the sixth day on the market, as a much higher price then we truly thought we would get for the house. THANK YOU Mr. Carter! While he was there I had found a spot of mold on a bathroom ceiling in a bathroom. He took action and removed all of the damaged drywall, remediated the mold and sanitized the whole bathroom.

+ -1 moreMr. Carter came in first, as he always does, and placed cotton drop cloths to protect everything. Then he set up a shop in my house, an area to begin and end day, and clean all tools. He reuses all tools, as he doesn't buy tools for single use on each job. Removal of wallpaper found problems with plaster. He didn't call in a plaster man, he fixed it himself. But he insisted on putting up vapor barrier to keep all dust from plaster repair from migrating into rest of home, and placed fan in window to vent room to outside. Further he found something he wasn't sure what caused the black marks on one wall. He investigated and found cause, a type of bug that eats wallpaper paste. He called my exterminator to treat the area. Mr. Carter was efficient and thorough in a professional manner. Willing to gently provide advice to think about. He has a sound reasoning in his advice, if offered. I suggest you take the advice. His advice has paid off in the long run to prevent future problems. Therefore saving time, money, and future aggregation. He also looked around house and repaired wallpaper I had installed, incorrectly, and repaired my mistakes. Truly worth every dime, and saved monies from sound advise.
