Every thing went fine came when they said they would.

Carl and the crew are great! We contacted Affordable Landscaping at the end of Nov. 2012 and we received outstanding service from the very first phone call. They were quick with a quote and within two weeks had started the project. (There were several and quot;in-progressand quot; projects that were finishing and we were advised of the time-line upfront.). They arrived early on the appointed day and were finished the following day. The wall looked great!! They even added and quot;gridand quot; to help maintain the integrity of the wall as it was not very high (4 ft from base.) Unfortunately, the wall did not hold. Affordable Landscaping returned to our home, removed the wall and salvaged all material possible and told us they would come back and reinstall the wall. (This was in February, 2013). After several phone calls to the WVGS, WVU Civil Engineering Dept. and a visit from a Civil Engineer, it was determined the wall would have never held as we have a slip caused from an abundance of water and gray clay. The slip, to date, has not been corrected as we have not had a dry stretch of days to get the equipment on site without making a mud bog. However, Affordable Landscaping called last week to say they had not forgotten about us and they will wait until the slip was fixed to reinstall the wall. What a great bunch of people!!!! I would recommend them to anyone!

I called Affordable Landscape twice to see about fixing my driveway/culvert. The first time I talked with the owner I think and told him that I need a culvert pipe removed and a new one (which I had already) put in and then our driveway grated and filled in with gravel. He was going to come out and look it over and then call me with an estimate. This was in the summer and they were busy, but still I'm not sure he ever came to see the project, but he never called me. Then I called and talked with a woman and told her about my first call and never hearing from him and she apologized and told me they were indeed very busy, but she would make sure he called me. Never heard from him. We did however go pick up a few truck loads of gravel to fill in our driveway ourselves, and that was a good experience. Very good price on that and so I would use them again for picking up materials but not for projects.

I called them to request mulch delivery. The person who answered the phone was friendly and took my order for 6 yards of mulch. He said they could deliver in the next couple of days and asked when a good time was for me. I gave them the time as well as instructions for where I wanted the mulch to be placed. He took my number and said the driver would call me when they were on their way, as I said that I would like to be there. The mulch was delivered on the day we had arranged. The driver did not call me, but when I got home from work the mulch was exactly where I had asked it to be left. No complaints here! Friendly professional service. Price was comparable to Southern States.

The first time I ordered top soil was last fall. They said they might not be able to get it due to the rain, but that they would call me. They never called. I ordered it again this spring. Twice I stopped at their place of business and placed the order. The third time the girl at the counter was very apologetic and placed my order in the computer. She told me it may take a couple of days before they could get to the soil, but that she would make sure someone called me in a couple of days. No ever called.

There prices are excellent and affordable, however, the potting mixed I purchased was marginal at best. I would give them another try, friends have purchased product from them and been very happy. The potting mix was not very rich and had a lot of rocks in it.

First, they came out and gave me an estimate and within a week I had an affordable price and a plan that I thought was excellent. I gave them the okay to begin whenever they could, and the beginning of the very next week they came out, started and finished in the same day, and It looked better that I ever thought it could. I thought that the company handled everything from start to finish very professionally, and any question or concern that I had, they had a very knowledgeable solution for. They know what they are doing. The best part is that I found out that this company is not just an excellent Landscape Service Provider, but they also have a store close to my house that sells all of the mulch and rock that they used. So next year if i decide to do it myself, I can still do business with the same company that I had such success with. Honestly, for landscaping in this area, I have never dealt with a more professional organization! I highly recommend!!
