One hot day when the temperatures were above 90 we realized the air wasn't cooling the house as effectively. We had it set on 70 and it was creeping up to around 72-73 degrees. It's an older unit so we decided to have someone come out and see if there was a problem and just do some general maintainance/upkeep. Called them Thursday and set up an appointment for Saturday between 10:30-12:30 which was only $10 more than their weekly service charge. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and polite. The technician called shortly before 10:30 and let me know he was on the way. I told him of the issue and said he would take a look at let me know if there were any issues. It took him about 30 minutes or so. Other than cleaning the coils, he said everything looked good. The only issue he mentioned was he saw that the primary heat exchange had some cracks but weren't large. He said he wouldn't recommend replacing it as it is a pretty expensive repair and that it could still last several more years. Overall they did exactly what I wanted them to do and they didn't find any major issues. He also showed me a few things to do to help maintain in between service calls.

Our heat pump had stopped cooling on the evening of July 1sr. I called Ashworth's because they had a local phone number. I called them at 7:30 AM and explained the problem. The gentleman I spoke with was on his way to the office and said he would check the schedule and get back to me. A representative called me back within an hour and said they could be there between 11:30 and 1:00. I asked to be given 30 min notice so I wouldn't have to be tied to the house during that time. The technician called at 10:30 and told me was ready to come to the house. I met him within 30 minutes. He checked the unit, immediately discovered the problem and replaced the capacitor within 20 minutes. He didn't try to sell me extra parts, extended warranties, etc.

The installers, Gary and Robert, did a fantastic job. They were very thorough during the installation. All the mess, inside and outside, was cleaned up and all materials were removed. Our garage floor was even swept!. I have used Ashworth Heating and Cooling for several years now and they have always been very dependable and reliable. They have always responded to our needs no matter what the temperature has been. It has been a pleasure to do business with them. I would recommend their company to anyone.

Service call to correct issues from the installing contractor who didn't do a proper job.

AC wasn't working. Was told (by another HVAC Co.) that I needed a new compressor. Facing the expense of thousands of dollars, I called Ashworth for a 2nd opinion. $45 dollars and 1 hour later my AC was working. Thank you Ashworth.

They were thorough, punctual, did good work, had a reasonable price, have friendly personnel, and did a great job at installation. I give them high ratings, will be using them in the future, as we have a yearly contract with them for maintenance.
