Denise & Daughters Cleaning Service

Didnt go at all. Everytime we scheduled a day and time she had an excuse why she couldnt come. Three excuses and dates later, I gave up and told her I would find someone else!

I have used Denise's housekeeping service for a few months now, and I'm very impressed by her professionalism and the quality of her services. She works closely with her daughters, who also do an excellent job. She will give a well-priced assessment of the costs for regular cleaning, and if I notice any trouble areas, she always helps. She is highly trustworthy (which isn't something you can always say about a cleaning service!) and does exactly what she says she will do. They can also do deep cleaning, which is a must, I think, before you start a regular service. Plan to continue to use her services until she decides not to do it anymore, which will make me terribly sad!

They did an excellent job as always. We cannot afford whole-house cleaning and whenever we need her help she comes as quickly as possible. Always pleased both my husband and me! Very personable and caring. She and her family prayed for my husband last fall when he was very sick. God answered our prayers and he is much better!

I have been using Denise & Daughters for regular cleaning for over two years now and I couldn't be happier with the job they do. They do good work and really care about the families/people they clean for. I've always felt uneasy with other people cleaning in my house, until I met Denise. They are very kind, down to earth, and honest. Hard to find these days! My house always smelled and looked beautiful after they came....I quickly began to look forward to every other Thursday when I knew they'd be coming! I have dogs, and they were also sweet to my pets (which means a lot to me). They are very busy now...I suppose because news of their great work spread quickly....so if you're thinking about hiring them call now! They're wonderful!! The only negative thing I could say is that they wouldn't agree to move to Texas with us when we left Morgantown a few days ago! :) The Huffmans will miss them terribly!

We've been using her regularly. We used her maybe a month ago. We're getting ready to text her tonight. She likes to be texted and not called. She doesn't do our whole house. The first time she came, I had a coupon that I printed out of our computer. Her first visit was like $40. The last time she was in she charged $30. That was fair. I think that was good. We really like Denise. We trust her. She prayed for Bob when he was sick. That meant a lot to us. She is very reasonable. She is a wonderful cleaner. She does great cleaning. She texts right back.

Well I'll start at the beginning. I was referred to Denise's cleaning service by another provider on Angie's list. I contacted Denise & gave my number. She called and we set up a time for her to come do an estimate. It was one Monday when I was off work. Denise called that Monday around 1 pm to tell me she hadn't forgotten about me & was at the Jeep dealership & would be there shortly. She didn't arrive until 1.5 hours later, but I understand she got caught up at the dealership. She did a quick walk through and told me it would be $150-200 depending on how long it took, & it would be between 4 & 5 hours. After some texting back and forth for questions, I added Denise doing the inside of our kitchen cabinets & I scheduled Denise for Monday the 30th. I was told the cabinets would make the price "a little more" than we talked about. I was fine with that. But, we had plumbing issues in our shower on Monday so she came on Tuesday instead. I was very happy she was flexible for us. She was very easy to get ahold of and understanding. I left a key & she let herself and her helper in. She was scheduled for 12:30. Around 2:40 I got a call that while cleaning the toilet, it had started leaking from the tank. I came home, couldn't fix it, called my husband who fixed it. Water was on the floor & they had to reclean the bathroom. I was also thankful she did that. the bad: I got home at 5:30, so 5 hours from her start time. Denise told me she actually didn't have time to scrub the grout in my kitchen because she ran out of time. I was very disappointed because during the walk through I told her the kitchen floor was one of my main concerns. She did wash it well, but the grout is still visably dirty & near the stove & trash can there is still dirt. She told me she may be able to get to it next time. However, the state of the house this time was going to determine if we did the biweekly clean service. My husband was already skeptical about paying someone to clean, so I pretty much figured he wouldn't be happy with the job not being finished. I understand she had to reclean the bathroom, but we only have 1 bathroom in our house & it is about 1600 square feet. So I was disappointed it didn't get finished. Also, the lights in the kitchen appear to have not been cleaned. The overhead track lights are dusty, and the pendant lights have caked on gunk/grease from where they are closer to the stove. Also the appliances were pretty 'streaky' (we have stainless steel) like they weren't cleaned with stainless cleaner, & the banister to the steps was cleaned with something that appears to have stripped the wood finish from it (it looks very chalky, & you can tell only the top of the banister was cleaned, not the spindles, as they still have the finish on them). Lastly, my daughter's bed wasn't made up (my daughter 'makes it up' but she's only 8 so it's not very neat. It was still in this state when I got home). & the side door landing wasn't cleaned at all. Lastly, the stainless part of the vent hood in the kitchen and the sink fixtures was not cleaned. However, these are basically the ONLY things in the WHOLE HOUSE I saw that weren't spotless. & if it weren't for the kitchen floor that I really really really wanted clean, I would probably be writing a very very positive review. the good: All in all, the house is clean. There are some corners with a little gunk still in it, especially in the kitchen, but it smells great. The windows in the kitchen, especially those by the stove, were pretty bad (grease) & the glass on the vent hood was pretty bad too & they are spotless.The bathroom issues were just unfortunate & no one could have expected or prevented that. It even looks like she cleaned the CEILING in our bathroom - you know how sometimes condensation from the shower gets on the ceiling & discolors spots? Yeah, spotless now. Our microwave was cleaned inside & out, & our cabinets look brand new on the outside. Our floors (including the wooden stairs) are spotless. All the mirrors in the house are spotless. And the windows, omg - they are beautiful. Blinds dusted. Things I didn't even know needed cleaned were clean. The fact still remains though, I paid $250 & either have to scrub my own grout & clean my pendant lights, or pay another $85 in 2 weeks to 'maybe' get it done. I was also surprised at the price. I do understand I added cleaning out the kitchen cabinets, which was a lot of work, but with our house being on the smaller side - I expected it to be closer to $200, especially with the kitchen floor unfinished :(. I have to add that my house was not terribly filthy, on first sight it appeared clean, I just wanted my 'spring cleaning' done. Denise is a very nice lady and very professional. I guess I just have bad luck! I do think I would have been very happy with the service if the toilet issues hadn't happened and my house was finished.

She did a very good job.

I initially contacted another service listed, but she was unavailable for the date needed and she gave me Denise's contact. She was easy to communicate with and arrived a team of three the day/time I needed them. I needed a deep cleaning especially of my kitchen. Three ladies came and worked for 3 hours. Brought their own supplies, listened to my requests, double checked their work, and made sure I was satisfied. I was home also trying to declutter and sort! Cleaned 2 bathrooms, foyer, dining room, great room, and kitchen/breakfast area. I did not have them do the bedrooms as the kids rooms need cleaned out/organized and the master is just mine to do. My worst area was the kitchen- they cleaning inside cabinets and wiped all the doors/trim. I have open cabinets for display of dishes and some with glass doors and they took all dishes down, wiped them, dusted all the areas. Cleaned microwave inside out/ wiped all other appliances as well. Cleaned cobwebs in my foyer and around the outside of my front door. My husband was very impressed and happy the house was so clean and smelled great! I had spent the past month studying for a major exam and his parents from Florida were coming the day after the five hour test so I spent the money for the help. Very happy I did for the great job they did and my peace of mind!! I normally keep up better, but occasionally get behind so will definitely call them again! I have used cleaning help a few times in the past, but never truly happy unless I do it myself, but really they did a wonderful job. .

Scheduled within a week of first contact, arrived right on time, and did an awesome job. Will be hiring them for regularly scheduled cleanings.

These women did an amazing job. They drove to my house when it was pouring down snow, which was so nice of them when I would've understood if a rescheduling needed to occur. When I came back home once they were finished my house looked incredible. They cleaned spaces I didn't even know were dirty! The price was great for the size of home I have (3 story town home, 3 beds, 4 baths, etc.) and I will be hiring them for their excellent services once I move out of my sold home! I highly recommend using their service! :)

Was in a pinch as my normal cleaning people had cancelled on me - and it was Valentine's Day. Even though it was late in the day when I called, these folks still came out (arrived at 4 pm) and cleaned for me. This is a greatly relieved husband writing this review. In sum, if you want some nice down to earth people who you can trust I would recommend this company. Also nice to deal with a local family business.

They were professional,organized, and thorough. They were willing to clean anything and cleaned things I forgot to ask such as the blinds. I had recently moved in and required more cleaning the first time. Had I known they would clean cupboards and put shelve paper down, I would have called much sooner. I have arranged for regular service and am extremely happy with their service.
