WOLFE POOLS

I had a hard time finding someone to open my pool this year. Mr Wolf seemed so genuine and I felt confident in their abilities. I payed $250 for a job that was not completed. They would come and go without completing any tasks or making me aware of the situation. I am disabled. When I called Mr Wolf to find out why his workers came and left without speaking to me, he would come up with excuses and was complacent. Each time they came to my home they had a different excuse of why they couldn't finish the job. Each time I, a 40 year old disabled woman fixed the problem in moments. Each time I spoke with Mr. Wolf after the initial opening he became very defensive and rude which brought me to tears. Never in my life have I been so stressed about opening my pool. We usually handle it ourselves but thought this year we would take the easy way out. There has been nothing easy dealing with this business. Why take a job if it's beneath you or you can't be bothered by it. I had no expectations except what I paid for, get my pool open , clean and running. They opened it but that's where the job ended. I will never pay anyone hundreds of dollars again until the job is done.

Please do not waste your time with this company. They primarily work with commercial pools but took the job of opening our above ground pool for $250. They were supposed to remove the winter cover, install the pump and filter, vacuum the pool, and balance the chemicals. What they actually did was remove the cover and lazily attach the pump and filter so it leaked. They then left our house without explaining anything, forcing us to call for an update. Of course, the owner answers the phone, not the worker sent to our house, so the lack of communication extends to him as well. He complained that he underbid the job and it was costing him too much to send workers to our house and basically told us we were out of options. When pressed, we threatened to negativity review his company online and we questioned his commitment to customer service. He reluctantly agreed to send someone back to finish the job. 2 weeks later, we call because no one ever showed up. Again, we're told that he underbid and won't be finishing the work. In all, we paid $250 to have our winter cover removed and the filter and pump removed from our she'd. HARDLY a fair deal and certainly the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. If I could rate this sorry excuse for a company 0 stars, I would. Bill Wolfe is NOT a good business owner, is NOT committed to customer service, is NOT well-represented by his employees, and DEFINITELY IS A SCAMMER AND CON ARTIST. Also, check the rest of the reviews: the only 5 star ratings are from family members. Again, SCAMMER AND CON ARTIST.

Paid down payment over 8 weeks ago. They came maybe twice to clean out and take measurements and replace one return fitting on side of steps. Nothing else. We've left messages and no response. They kept telling us cost of something, we look it up and he marks it up almost 3x the cost. The last message was to get something started in next 2 weeks or we want money back. 1 week went by. No response.
