We purchased a home warranty and had an issue with our HVAC duct work in our garage. Our Home Warranty sent this company out for a $75.00 service charge. The tech showed up and looked at the pipe for all of two seconds then asked for his check and began to leave. We had to stop him for more information and he stated his boss would call us back but he said "you should probably clean that insulation and put it back in the wall" instead of just putting it back for us. I never heard from the business again. I called over 7 times in two weeks for a quote on the work and to figure out what was going on but their secretary kept telling us that the owner has yet to look at our information and would call us back. Well we never received a call back nor a quote; however, they were quick to collect their $75.00 service charge. Unresponsive and unprofessional but I will say one thing good....he did arrive on time.

Our downstairs unit wasn't cooling well late last fall, so we knew it would need maintenance. A few days ago, our upstairs unit froze up, so we looked here on Angie's List to find a contractor. W. F. Reid, Jr. had good reviews, so we called him on Friday to set up an appointment. He didn't have an opening that day, but said he would come out on Monday. He was very informative, and his price for freon was much lower than another company that we called. He told us that if the AC Leak Freeze didn't work, he would come out and put more freon in the units and only charge us for labor. (Of course, if the Leak Freeze doesn't work, we'll have to have other, more expensive work done on the units!) He gave us a discount, which we greatly appreciated. The house is nice and cold now, and we are satisfied customers.

This is the second time I've used them and they were very good the first time. The only thing is they lack communication to keep you updated on when they will come out, they will just show up.

Very fast and reliable. He came out and explained the problem and how to check for this myself next time.

The person is named Bill Reid, and I can highly recommend him. I ordered a 12 SEER system, and he installed a 15 SEER system for the same price, he gave me more than I asked for.

i was out of heat he came the same day and worked on heater it worked for a few days, but it needed a new motor, i called him back he came that same day. i did not have all the avail money, and he let me make 2 payments. he was very fair in pricing as well

I use a home warranty service which contractor the A/C Company. The home warranty company did not have anyone available so I called this company. They were able to provide service the next day and work with the warranty company. I was not at home, but he agreed to start diagnosing the issue from the unit accessible in the backyard, before I got home.
