I call Antietam and the same day Jesse returned my call to over details...Jesse said he would stop by in a few days and provide an estimate and he went over details and answered all the questions I had....within 2 days Jesse emailed ma an estimate and followed with a phone call, again we went over details and timing (weather this time of year being a factor)...we decided we would plan for a 50 degree plus day...on Monday Jesse called me to notify me materials would be delivered that day and the next day Tuesday February 12th Jesse and his crew showed up in full force and completed the work...weather was perfect work was done and completed all in 1 day....no hassles no fuss, Jesse emailed me an invoice, I mailed him a check...done deal, done right!

They were great to work with. It only took a while to get done because I had to deal by my home owner's insurance who ended up sending out an adjuster twice before agreeing to pay. I dealt with the owner the whole time. He was extremely nice and always kept me in the loop. Snow and other weather pushed it back a couple times, but that is not their fault at all. The majority of the work was done in one day then finishing touches the next day. I was not home when the work was completed, so the owner followed up with me later to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends.

Bottom line: Jesse was excellent; I would highly recommend to others. Reasons: 1) Jesse worked with us during a home closing to provide a timely, next day quote for roof repair for an issue identified during our inspection. Jesse inspected the property without requiring myself or my wife to take off work to be at the home for the time of the inspection. Without a doubt, this helped to ensure our closing process progressed on time. 2) When we contacted Jesse after closing to start the repair work he promptly responded, and inspected the home a second time to ensure pricing and materials matched our need. There was no unexpected change to the services required or initial estimate. 3) Jesse setup an installation appointment shortly after receiving the roofing materials we ordered. Total time from our signing a service contract was 6 days, including the weekend, which was quicker than the initial two week estimate. 4) Jesse again worked with us on the day of service so we would not need to take time off work to be at the home during the roof install. Our neighbor said Jesse was in at 8:00 am and had everything installed and cleaned up by 3:30 p.m. 5) The installation was great and the quality of his work was apparent. The property also was as clean as when he arrived. 6) Jesse also took time to stop by our home when we were available on a weekend evening to check if we had any concerns, reemphasize his warranty, and pick up payment. This was a nice touch, especially given the fact that we were not at the home during installation. 7) And, Jesse has the best price of the different roof companies we solicited.

Contacted the company on 11/13/2012 and received a prompt response with an estimate for the work. Contractor did not really schedule an appointment to complete the work; however, they stated that they would call the night before sometime in the following week. This arrangement is acceptable for this work since I do not have to be present. I am writing this on 11/19/2012 and have not yet been contacted but it is Thanksgiving week so I expect to be contacted soon. Contractor made first visit on 11/21 but was unable to complete work due to lack of shingles in the proper color. Work was completed to satisfactioin on 12/4/2012 after multiple attempts to schedule an appointment.

I was impressed with the extremely quick responsiveness. Given the recent weather, I would have expected to have waited at least a week but had an appointment within 2 days. Initially, I only requested a gutter cleaning. However, once the techs came out, they suggested that I add a downspout as well as replace the flanges around the vent pipes on the roof. Now, some may think that this is upselling. However, I knew that we needed another downspout due to problems with drainage. And, the tech took pictures of the disintegrating flanges around the vent pipes. Given the age of the roof, I felt that both of these suggestions were reasonable and I gave the ok to proceed. I thought the techs did a great job and I will not hesitate to contact Antietam again for additional work that comes up in the future.

We received some wind damage from a hurricane. I called Antietam Roofing they came by while I was at work and took a look at the damage and gave me call to talk about the estimate to repair. They were flexible to my schedule and provided courteous service. I graded quality as N/A because It has not rained since the repairs, though from the outside the repairs look great. They did a good job matching the shingle color and took measurments to give me a free estimate on replacing the whole roof later on down the road. They also removed a wasp net that Thanks

It was a pretty quick fix. Just called Mr. Jessie on his phone, he came out, and my bill went into my email and I paid him online.

I have been working with my insurance company to repair a roof leak from a previous wind storm. Hurricane Sandy was coming over the weekend and insurance didnt have an answer for me. I called Jesse on Thursday 10/25 and explained the situation. I was out of town for the weekend and couldn't pay him at the time of service. He told me he would correct what he could with the roof and get with me after I returned. Jesse called me on Saturday 10/27 to let me know that the roof was not in shape for repair, but he could tarp the roof for the storm and then he could come back for further evaluation. The temporary fixed worked perfectly!! Not a single leak. Jesse is coming back to estimate the roof for a proper fix and I am sure I will use him for that service as well.

We received several proposals and one of them was from Jesse. Jesse came to our home and measured. He send us a proposal. We accepted. He started work. We were more than pleased with the workmanship of Jesse. We did not know Jesse before he did the work. We relied on Angie's list reviews and prayers. This was a big project as we are seniors on a fixed income. We know we were led to choose Jesse . There was another roofer that we liked his work but he never had the courtesy to get back to us with a proposal. Jesse was honest to a fault. When the job was completed he said he would refund money for overestimating the amount of snow birds. The proposal stated 220 snowbirds. Jesse used 198. He did not have to tell us this because we certainly were not going to count the snow birds. We were so pleased with the job that we did not want a refund. I can't say enough about how happy we are with the way our home looks with this new metal roof. He also did a fabulous job on putting the metal on an area above our picture window. It just sets the front off. We would highly recommend this man.

The company was prompt and professional and the estimate was very reasonable. We simply decided to go with another company.

This was a very good experience. Jesse came out the very next day and examined the areas where I had noticed the leaks. He explained that it was a small repair job and if he had singles that matched mine with him he could have done the work right then He came back the next day and performed the repairs. However, during the next rain one area was still leaking. I called Jesse and he came back the very next day. He replaced a few more shingles and it did the trick. We have had several heavy rainfalls since and no more leaks! Jesse was very responsive and he stands by his work. I definitely would not hesitate to call him again.

After getting the contact information from Angie's list I contacted Jesse (the owner) for an estimate. He came to my house within 48 hours of the request for an estimate and I had a written estimate within 24 hours after that. I also received two other estimates for the same work and Antietam's price was 20% less for the same work/materials. I gave Antietam Roofing the approval to proceed. The next day Jesse was at my house with samples. We selected a color and materials were delivered to our house 5 or 6 days later. The roof was installed the day after materials were delivered. The roofers arrived at 7:15AM and began removal of the old roofing. By 4 PM on the same day the old roof had been removed, the new roof was installed and all areas were cleaned up. The roofing crew was very efficient, professional and very willing to answer any questions that I had. I would highly recommend Antieitam Roofing to anyone in their service area.

They were quick and reasonably priced. I will have them replace my roof in the next couple of years.

Called Jesse regarding a missing soffit tile above the front door to my house. After describing the issue over the phone he provided a price estimate and a schedule (the next day!). Arrived promptly on Friday at the appointment time and got right to work replacing the missing soffit tile. Once he completed that he did a quick inspection of the roof and found around 8 shingles that were missing and pointed out an area were shingles were missing and explained the possibilities of leaks and other problems very well. Jesse advised that he did not have any shingles that matched my roof with him at the time but that he could come back out on Monday and replace them. It is now 1pm on Monday and he has already shown up, replaced the missing shingles and provided a receipt!! The price was absolutely unbeatable at only $210 for everything, which is cheaper than a ladder tall enough to get up to a two story roof, and Jesse is completely reliable, professional and very friendly to work with! I would recommend him to anyone for their roofing needs!

When I called and described the leak, I was told that it was most likely one of the vent sleeves as this is a common problem. I was told that they had a minimum $150.00 service call charge, but that the repairs would most likely fall within this minimum charge - and that they would also inspect and repair anything other minor issues that could be covered under this charge as well. The repairman was prompt and went right to work. The problem did turn out to be a cracked vent sleeve and was repaired within about 15 minutes. He also discovered a detached shingle and a piece of flashing that was close to becoming a problem. he repaired both of these under the same service call charge. All in all, an excellent experience. My roof is about 15 years old now - you can bet that I'll certainly consider Antietam Roofing when I'm ready to replace it.

Their rates were reasonable and the guys were very professional. They cleaned up all the trash, were always there on time and were cooperative with us coming in and out of the house. I mean they were really, really good guys; I highly recommend them. They were done on time, on budget and the work was exceptional. I will use them again in the future.

My experience dealing with the comapny owner was exceptional. He accomodated my request rather graciously despite of the location little outside his domain and promptly as scheduled completed the roof inspection. As a professional he took the time to reach out while on location to share the findings. As professional he was honest to report the issue was not the roof but the rooftop HVAC system from within. Did forward his written report as promised the very next day. It was indeed a delightful experience. I will not hesitate to use him and refer him to anyone in future. Thanks.

Jesse, responded immediately to my initial email. We had an estimate within a couple of days and a new roof within a week from the day he came out for the estimate. His price was the lowest and the work was great !

I was very pleased with him. He came and gave me an estimate and did the work on the same day. He did the work right then and there. He had everything ready and finished the job within an hour. I was very pleased. My house has got problems but he has nothing to do with it. I would recommend this company to the others. He’s very good. I will use his services again in the future.

Could not be more pleased. I called for an estimate and Jesse came that day to measure and emailed us a written quote that evening. Just one week later and our new roof is complete and looks just beautiful! A very hard working crew showed up when promised and they worked nonstop all day, except for a short lunch break. I searched hard for the right person for the job and was not willing to hire just anyone, a new roof was a major investment for me. I feel like I was very successful in my choice. I wish he did other home improvements, but at the same time I am glad he specializes in one thing. Thanks again Jesse, I would have given you an A+ if I could have!
