Lavalette Nursery

The whole process was easy and pleasant. I called for an estimate and received this and a detailed plan. The work was done shortly after receiving the estimate. The workmen were friendly and professional and I am very pleased with the finished product.

HORRIBLE! The day the work was to begin no one showed. Two days later I was calling them! They were running behind on another project and promised to be there at the end of the week. Again NO SHOW! I called again and was promised work would begin the following Monday. I had to be out of town the week that they did show. Upon arrival back there was a dying hydrangea plant in the front garden, and five brown dying plants. I decided to rake back the mulch and to my horror no top soil had been brought in, lava rock that had been promised to be disposed of was still in the garden (over 150 lbs I personally picked out), mulch had simply been thrown over green grass and the plants had been been dumped into holes that were only the width and depth of the plants, and the majority of the plants were still wrapped in the burlap bag with the tie still cinched tightly around the base of the plants. Grass is now growing up through the mulch! And he wants to be paid. Truly amazing! It took my fiancand eacute; and I over 30 hours to completely re do the entire front garden to FIX their mess. DO NOT EVER use this company... I spoke with numerous nurseries around the local Huntington, WV area and there have been many complaints of the work promised not being done!

They were awesome! I needed this to get my raised garden beds started. They were the ONLY local company that could/would deliver to me. The delivery person was very nice to myself and answered questions that my young son asked him. :) I would definitely recommend them!

The plan presented was just what I was seeking and while it wasn't inexpensive, it was executed promptly and according to the drawing provided. Would use again.

Quality shrub. It was purchased to replace one that died. Alive and healthy as of September. :)

We new nothing about poind installation.

I have 7 acres and half of it goes up to the mountains. He came over and delivered my trees. He did suggest that I put a red maple tree and I took his advice. He did a plan for me and wanted to charge me $50. I ordered $1,000 worth of trees and plants from him. I paid him for everything, but when I wanted him to do the work, such as dig the holes and know what they are doing, he said he did not have a crew. The quality was good, but he is expensive and shorthanded. He does stand by his product.

They are professional and prompt. They have good products. I would rate them highly.

They did 3 days of work. They did a nice job and they were good. They were fairly knowledgeable about what they were doing. A lot of it was cleaning up the yard, but I think they are a good nursery. They sell plants and do other things. They were definitely good and I would have them out again. They were a little expensive but I did not do any price comparison; I just wanted someone who was able to do it for me when I wanted it done. It looks good. Everything they planted is doing fine. The problem with them is that they are slow to get back to me.
