wallpaper removal, interior painters
+ 0 moreMr. Mauck and his team were pretty expensive but, I think, worth it. Because this is a vacation home, I simply gave them the key and drove up to check in from time to time. The house has a tremendous amount of wood trim and a very high ceiling in the LR and kitchen. There is no paint on the trim anywhere in the house, plus there is not a single drip of paint that I have found anywhere. Mr. Mauck cheerfully worked around other contractors who were in and out of the house. The crew cleaned up after themselves completely as well. My family couldn't be happier with the job they did.
Description of Work: Mr. Mauck and his colleagues removed a whole house full of 40-year-old wallpaper (without damaging any walls, incredibly), patched the walls and prepared them for painting. They painted our popcorn ceilings, again for the first time in 40 years and without causing anything but minor damage (which was repaired perfectly). Popcorn ceilings are very difficult to paint since they tend to "melt" under the roller. Our ceilings could not be spray-painted because of the layout of the house. Then the crew painted all the walls in the house. This was over a period of about 2.5 weeks.
