Description of Work: Very friendly, professional and informative. Installed system exactly as promised.Showed up on time. He has the Best Rates in the area. We called four others for quotes and they were all much higher for the exact same product. The others also tried to sell us services we didn't need. Mr. Hamby was upfront honest and didn't try to upsell other services. Even when I mentioned purchasing a bigger more expensive system he explained why I didn't need to spend the extra money for a bigger system because of the square footage of the area in my home that the system would serve. JM Hamby was not only the lowest rate, he is also the only contractor that offered us a 10 yr warranty on Parts and LABOR! Yes LABOR! All the others offered the standard manufacturer warranty, but none offered the labor warranty. If we need the system repaired within 10 years he will come repair the system for free. Mr. Hamby also put 3 lbs of refrigerant in our failing system to keep our house cool over the long hot Memorial day weekend because we had many family members in our house from out of town. One of the other companies wanted to charge me $110 for each pound of refrigerant.The only cons I can think of is that he doesn't provide an email address for contact, and he doesn't do attic fans. I asked if he could install an attic fan and He was honest and said he doesn't install attic fans because he doesn't like heights and working on steep roofs.

Description of Work: Jason is a WV Licensed Contractor and works on electric, oil and gas furnaces and air conditioning units. We called him because our oil furnace was spewing black smoke whenever it turned on. He came out the next evening, gave us an estimate and returned two days later to fix the problem. He explained the problem in detail, what it would take to fix it, why it occurred and gave us a tutorial about our gas furnace that made us feel safe using this form of heat. He even suggested we could save fuel dollars by upgrading the type of fuel we used because it burned cleaner, took less fuel, and would require less service on the unit in the future.
