Boyd's Guttering

It went very well.

After a recommendation from DE Turner and Sons General Contracting LLC I called and left a message. The next evening he called me back to setup an appointment to come and have a look. He briefly assessed what needed to be done and took some measurements. He gave me his card and a quote and an expected time frame he would be back (about a week). The following Wednesday they had a job canceled due to weather so they showed up early. They were very careful and made sure to very respectfully take down my American flag so as not to damage it. They had the old gutter down and the new one up in about 30 minutes. The cost was exactly what was quoted me. Everyone on the crew was extremely polite and respectful to me and my property. Small job, huge impression.

No work preformed

The owner gave us an estimate about two weeks ago - job came in right on the "dime" with estimate. His policy is to call the night before he will come to avoid being required to postpone or cancel due to rain and this works quite well. Ours was a "smaller" job for a contractor so he actually called one morning about 8:30 AM and asked if it would be convenient for him to come about 11 AM because he was involved with a smaller job and would be finished about that time and not due at the next one for several hours. He arrived at exactly 11 AM. The truck pulled into our driveway at exactly 11 AM. All of the workers immediately exited the truck and started to open the sides and get right to work while the owner was approaching the house to tell us he was there. They wasted absolutely no time and finished the job in excellent time and in a professional manner. They cleaned up all debris from removing the old gutter and down spouts and left no evidence of even having been there. You won't be sorry if you use this company. We have absolutely no negative comments on this contractor whatsoever - it was a very positive experience.

Chris & his crew arrived when they told me they would. They review my problem, inspected / measured my house and gave me total price for the completed job. The old gutters / downspouts were removed and collected for recycling. The new gutters were formed on site, ends sealed and properly installed. The downspouts were then installed as described (we decided to add an additional downspout, great move!). The entire job site was cleaned up, the project completed and ready for my review in record time! Everything was done exactly as I asked, for the agreed upon price. I waited for a couple weeks (and several rain storms) before posting the review and can say that for the 1st time since we've owned the house water doesn't run down the exterior walls of the house during a storm, regardless of how heavy it rains! Chris and his team (mostly family), were a pleasure to do business with! I have and will continue to recommend him.

Was enhusauitice to take proects. However it took 2 weeks to get estimate finalized that involved me calling 4 times: 1- to find out if he visited and then 2- for the estimate he said he would provide in a day and didn't and 3 - for second estimate reemphasizing I wanted entire area not guttered done then 4- for final cost that he did give @ 3700. I denied work as I was unsure how responsive he would be to finish and cost was 900 more than others.

Boyds Guttering came to my home and measured the length of guttering required and a few minutes of calculations, I was given a very reasonable quote (less than half of some of the other quotes I received). I was assured that there would be no extras or increases from the quoted price ... and there were not. Boyds refused a down payment for the work and I was told "If you aren't satisfied with the work, then don't pay". He said they would schedule the work the next week if the weather was good.The crew installed the gutters and left the yard and property immaculate. I was not home during the installation and returned home to find the work completed and an invoice slipped under the door, which I promptly paid. I was very pleased to find a local business that was so responsive and professional.

Delayed by a day due to rain, but showed up early next day and did a great job. Was very helpful on phone about answering my questions and what over material I would need for this project.

As I stated previously, they did not bother to return my call.

Chris was responsive to my inquiry, though we played phone tag for quite a while (my fault - not his). Once we finally connected he scheduled a time to give me an estimate, showed up, gave me a reasonable quote and we shook hands. He said his crew would do the work in about two weeks or so, and that's when they showed up. Turned out to be more difficult to remove old gutter than they thought, but Boyd's did not charge me more than estimate. Only problem (hence the B for professionalism) was that I found three pieces of metal from my old gutters in the grass the next time I went out to mow. Work looks fine, though we haven't had any "downpours" since it was done.

I called Boyd's guttering on September 23rd or earlier, I am not sure of the exact date. I did not get a human but instead got their answering machine, so I left a detailed message, including my name, location, phone number, and what I wanted done (gutters cleaned and gutter covers installed). I still have not received a call back from them, even telling me that they would not do it.

The estimate was quick and painless. Very reasonable price. The owner explained in detail what would need to be done. I was contacted immediately to know the time and day the work would be done. They showed up on time and did a wonderful job!

Chris and his son were here for approximately two hours. It would have been less time, however, a previous roofer had damaged one side of the guttering, so they had 16 hidden hangers between facia hangers.

The company came out and gave us an estimate - far below what I was expecting to pay for new gutters and downspouts. They then came out a few days later, and within 3 hours I had brand new gutters and downspouts on my house. They hauled away the old materials, and we have had rain the past few days - everything works well.
