Second Chance has removed belongings from 2 of my properties. They are on time and work very efficiently. Totally no nonsense! A clean out that looks like a day's work is done thoroughly and expeditiously. They are polite, friendly, and go above and beyond. I recommend this company. It's great to have trustworthy you can call on.

They showed up on time. Sounds small, but I have moved a LOT and I have never had any moving company show up on time. They took care of my items and were very fast in loading and unloading. I would highly recommend them!!

Movers were supposed to arrive at 9am to pack. They came between 12:30p-1p, packed until they "ran out of boxes". (packed for about 2 1/2 hours). Stated "we'll just finish in the morning, it won't take us long.". They arrived the next morning at around 8:40am. Started rushing, missed items that should have been packed. They came with 20ft. truck after starting they would bring a 26 ft. truck, stating he saved us thousands of dollars and work time because of driveway being on a hill, it would have taken longer and created many more steps for them to walk up and down the hill. During the "rush" of things, I looked in the rooms and things were missed and they were saying they were done. (During the walk through prior to job, I had told mover what would be going, plus I had items in storage unit that would be going....only later to be told "it would have been nice if I had told them what was supposed to go," when I already had done so. The household items filled the 20 ft. truck (and still some items left not able to go in to truck), so no room for storage unit items. At first, I was told that it would have to be done later. My frustration was through the roof...they just wanted to hurry...in a big rush. Mover kept saying "I was trying to save you thousands of dollars." Finally a decision was made to go get a trailer to hitch on back of truck, in order to get remaining items in house+storage unit items. Storage unit items were obtained. Some things were still left at house, I just didn't say anything else. The chaos on this moving day could have avoided if more time had been taken to pack everything prior to the move and if there had been a 26 ft. truck. I apologized to all 3 movers about my frustration. They transferred everything to new home 2 hours away. My cousin was taking care at new home as I had to stay at current place. She directed them, they didn't have to put anything together and took all items to inside of home, in the rain. I received call from movers regarding payment (my father was taking care of payment and he had also paid approx. $500+for deposit), with remainder due near end of move, which I think was around $2,100+. Mover had agreed to do a haul off for me of bulk items that were left over, so I had told him go ahead and add that to the payment amount, instead of having to do a separate transaction, so he was prepaid for that. He said he did and I asked what the total was, I couldn't hear him when he said the total, so I asked him to repeat it to me, which he did, but he sounded aggravated...I told him the total was fine and that my Dad would pay it (I think new total was $2,600+). Payment did go through and he said he would get back with me later in the weekend regarding haul off. I didn't hear from him, I texted him and they did come later that week and completed haul off. This was so stressful, I am on disability and this whole situation made me feel guilty/stressed. I also feel bad because there was cat poop under beds (that I don't sleep in). I just didn't know it was there and I apologized. I'm sure that disgusted them, as it does me. This house was a mess and I worked on it as I could... I've had a daughter and her friend live here with no help...they had dogs and these cats and were irresponsible with them. I hope I never have to move again!!!

It went great, Jeff and his crew were great. Sort of last minute scheduling on my part, and they worked it out.

Second Chance Moving did a fantastic job. It was a long, hot day moving a ton of stuff but these guys were kind, professional, and worked their butts off. I’m talking about seeing them carrying totes stacked 3 high down stairs to be more efficient. It wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning to move.

Jeff and his team are efficient , professional and accommodating . They broke down and set up our beds carefully and worked with me when I needed to postpone the move . I have used less expensive movers (their price was still reasonable )before , but would hire WV Second Chance Movers again because they are worth it !

Fantastic experience with Second Chance Moving. We had to move quickly to accommodate an early release and the 2man crew for the bill perfectly. They were professional, punctual, friendly, and got the job done. We will use them again!

Amazing. I used Jeff and his crew for my work and to move me from one house to another. For the first job they disassembled office cubicles and moved them then re assembled. They hauled off large desks and random equipment in storage. Personally I used them to move me in my new home. Safes, deep freezers and everything heavy I didn’t want to move. And they were there with 30 minutes notice. Amazing service and price.
