Description of Work: Although they were very professional; just wasn't all that pleased with their actual cleaning of carpets. Their truck also left stains on our cement driveway, which took about 2 months to get rid of. It seemed to us that it was a super good vacuuming job rather then a cleaning job.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. Ralph performed the work and it took about 3 hours to clean all the carpets. We have about 1800 square feet of carpet which includes the outside screened porch carpet as well. We paid a little extra (.43 instead of .33 per foot) and obtained Scotchguard within the cleaning solution too. I also had a 10% coupon which I obtained from Angie's list which saved about $80.00. Ralph was very professional and worked steadily the whole time. The carpets looked very nice when finished. The only thing I can say is we will use them again for any cleaning projects.

Description of Work: I called and spoke with the owner of Valley Chem-Dry on May 23. Time was important, because I wanted the carpet cleaned before my son moved home on the 30th. At first, he said June 1 was the earliest. Then he said he could have someone there the next day. The carpet serviceman arrived 45 minutes early, and was very pleasant when I asked if I could add on an area rug and several small rugs. Even though it was a holiday weekend, he accepted my requests and did a very nice job on all of it.

Description of Work: Steam cleaned my living room rug, carpeted staircase and steam cleaned my kitchen tile. The workers were very professional and showed up early to perform the work. Very nice crew and they did an excellent job!

+ -1 moreI've had electricians, handymen, plumbers, painters, etc. in and out of my home for the past 2 years. The carpet was in desperate need of a good cleaning 12-months ago but it was delayed d/t needing other projects completed in the house. I chose to use Chem Dry because I didn't want to have soggy carpet, but I was concerned about whether or not Chem Dry would be able to get the dirt, grease, etc. out of the heavy traffic areas. Harold assured me he'd be able to clean the carpet and that the spots would disappear. Well, not only did they disappear but I couldn't tell you where the spots had been. The carpet looks WONDERFUL and there's no soggy-wet aftermath. Chem Dry may be a little pricier than carpet cleaners that use water---but the extra cost is money well spent. Thanks Harold!

He gave us a quote and performed the service that same day. He even gave us a discount that wasn't listed on Angie's List. He explained the difference in how the cleaning works on the different kinds of carpet we have too. The end result was fantastic. We will definitely use him again!

Description of Work: The owner of the company came personally, cleaned five large area rugs that lie on hardwood, and finished within an hour. I had one pet vomit stain that required a worker to come back a few days later. The carpets dried very quickly, and there is no damage to the underlying hardwood.

+ -1 moreWorkman arrived as scheduled and went right to work. In the past they had occassionly sent two men which resulted in a better job.They call back in a day or two to see if you are satisfied.We usually get a discount card and reminder every six months.
