Description of Work: This group of men was hired to do work to a small half bath on the main level. The older one, supposed to be the father allowed a teenager to install a toilet while he just stood and watched him do it. He informed me that he had spent a lot of money on necessities for the toilet, which was an obvious lie, because it had been explained to me at the Hardware store that the toilet had everything necessary. They also did not show on several days and applied lying excuses when asked. They came on a day I told them I had things to do and not to come to work. They left me with a terrible mess on my hands and a large mirror on the floor which I cannot lift to rehang. Don't hire those men for anything. They're lying shady dishonest people.

Description of Work: This is a follow up to my previous complaint made yesterday... Was supposed to come by and bring money back today... Never showed up or answered phone calls... A true con artist. Please beware!,,,

Description of Work: showed up late with a woman in the truck with him, whom mysteriously stayed in the truck waiting. Did not have money for parts so asked for deposit to buy parts... Left with my money for parts and labor that I chose to go ahead and pay so that he would get the job done that day... Hours later his wife (whom I think may have been his sister) calls and states that Mike can not find the parts and would come over and turn my water back on. He never showed up and I began calling four different phone numbers in which there never was an answer... I went to his house to return a tool he left and try to collect my money, this apparently was his father and sister,s house (which again she stated she was his wife) she stated that he would come back to my house to pick up his tool and return my money.. He never showed up and needless to say did not answer phone calls... They also had the nerve to say that they contacted an attorney and was advised not to bring the money until the next day... I guess we will see tomorrow...

Description of Work: Hired Maynard Plumbing, dba Bill Maynard Plumbing, to replace faucets, shower head, etc., Also to replace tub surround, first payment was made on May 9th., money given as needed for supplies, etc over the next few days, they worked for 3-4 days (when they finally showed up), lett on that last day with a promise to return the next day to finish, that was on the 13th., have not seen them since.. Spoke with Bill (owner) twice, he promised to be here the next day to finish, have 8-10 texts from Mike (his son) stating he was on his way, never showed.. They do not answer their phones (unless I called from a number they did not know, surprisingly someone would answer)..Surround was not afixed to wall, they taped it up promising to come the next day to glue it into place, of course they did not show..Spout for tub would not fit, here again, "gonna get right on that".. I find them to be very unreliable, untrustworthy, dishonest (we paid for labor that has not been done)..On the days they did bother to show up they were unreasonably late..I will never ever use Maynard Plumbing again, nor will I recommend them to anyone again.. CAN NOT DESCIRBE SURVICE PREFORMED, NONE WAS...
