Mr. Blankenship and his designer met with us multiple times to help us figure out exactly what we wanted to do and gave us estimates on the cost of all the different options so that we could make knowledgeable decisions that helped us get the very best outcome and stay within our budget. Mr. Blankenship went out of his way to meet with us when our schedule allowed and was always professional. They provided us with drawings and detailed contracts outlining exactly what would be done. Once the work began they worked diligently to finish the projects. One of my neighbors remarked that they seemed very conscientious and that he wished he had used Alternative Building Concepts on a job he just had done. Mr. Blankenship even came out several times just to meet with the carpet layers because he wasn't happy with some of the seams. All the work they did was first rate and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Everything Alternative Building Concepts did improved our home and we would not hesitate to use them again.

We had bought a house several years ago and within a few months of owning the house our basement leaked water. After several years of litigation and numerous episodes of the basement leaking we started looking for a contractor to fix the basement problem. After getting estimates from a half a dozen companies, we decided that we were going to use Alternative Building Concepts, Inc. I will say there estimate was a bit higher than the other ones, but you get what you pay for. Due to us being in a law suit at the time of the construction, I wanted a company that was professional and a company that was going to document the damage and their work. I further wanted a company that would be competent to testify in court if needed. They were all of above and more. We could not have asked for a more professional group of guys. Mr. Blankenship explained to us all the work that was going to be performed and provided us with a written estimates for each phase of the process. The price of the work quoted never changed. When they started the work inside the basement it was amazing how neat they were, which was a concern of ours (especially drywall work). Once the outside work started it took longer than anticipated due to the weather (rain and lots of it), but the work was completed in a professional manner and throughout the process Mr. Blankenship kept us up to date with the process and any issues that arose. Once the work was completed everything was put back together neatly. After the work was completed several small issues arose and each time I called Mr. Blankenship, someone was there to fix it the same day. I would highly recommend Alternative Building Concepts, Inc. for any project.

I am a single woman with no experience in home repairs. I was skeptical when a structural engineer told me that my home had severe foundation damage. Obviously, this area was new to me and I needed someone to explain it. After further deliberation, I decided to contact Alternative Building Concepts, Inc. After the initial visit, I felt hopeful that my foundation problem would be remedied. I have now worked with Alternative Building Concepts, Inc. for over a year and everyone involved has proven to be professional, dependable and trustworthy. As a result of my satisfaction with the foundation repair and stabilization, we started discussing other projects. As of today, they have completed five separate main projects. I am thankful Alternative Building Concepts, Inc. always took extra time to go over details and procedures to help me understand the projects. I have been completely satisfied with all my projects, and, I would recommend them for any future construction needs. I deliberately waited a few months in order to guarantee everything was working to my satisfaction. and also to see how they would handle a couple of concerns I had. I was pleased they handled any issues I had promptly and professionally!! Their motto is " Leaders in construction, followers of Jesus." After nine months of working with them, I can attest they really do stand by their motto!! I

I was recommended to Alternative Building Concepts Inc. by a family friend and I also found their information in the Yellow Pages phone book. My friend recommended them to me because he knows that they do good work and that they are a Christian based company. I contacted them on a Monday morning and within an hour someone had contacted me back and we set up an appointment to meet the following morning. I was very impressed in how fast someone had gotten back with me. The next day when I met the contractor he was very professional and polite. He was also on time ( Yeah!!!). He was very thorough and explained everything to us in detail. We signed the contract the next day. There was a crew at my house getting started working on Thursday. The work was done in the time frame that they had given me and all the workers were very respectful of my home. I would use this company or recommend them to anyone that needed any home repairs.

These guys were very good. They did foundation work within a crawl space. It was close, dirty, exhausting work. They came when they said they would, completed the job in good time and cleaned up afterward. If I needed work like this done again (Heaven forbid!) on another house, these are the guys I would hire.

This company was excellent to work with. They may cost a bit more than others, but it is well worth it. They always came when scheduled and did quality work. They also took the initiative to re-do items which did not meet their high standards on the first attempt. All the employees were polite, skilled and a pleasure to work with. (They even made friends with our dog.) This was a farily complex project extending over a year in time to complete. Throughout the project they worked well with my wife and I as well as our son who acted as design architect.
