Harpers Ferry Hardwoods

Harpers Ferry Hardwoods did a fantastic job. They provided a professional estimate for refinishing several large rooms in our newly-purchased very-old house, and we decided to expand the project to include all the floors. The floors are a mixture of cherry, walnut, and heart pine, all random-width planking, some just 20 years old, and some over 100. The heart pine and some of the cherry were in need of repair as well as refinishing, and the walnut needed a large floor metal grate replaced. They recommended a local mill produced matching planks to repair several large sections of the cherry that a previous owner had patched with plywood and hidden from view, as well as two large sections of the heart pine that had obsolete heating grates. They sanded, patched, repaired, and finished the whole house, and it looks beautiful. They also recommended having the same mill custom-build a matching walnut grate to replace the one in the walnut floor, and we are looking forward to it being completed and installed. Kevin, Jason, and their team were a joy to work with. They are diligent, they offered good advice when we needed guidance, and they cared for our house like it was their own.
