The only thing I can say was we received prompt service at the beginning. I called on May 17, and they came out on the morning of May 18. When I called on the 17th, I requested a pool opening service, and was immediately scheduled for the next day. I was told to expect a call between 9 and 10 in the morning. I received the call right on time, letting me know exactly when they would show. They were very punctual. When they arrived, they looked at the supplies we already had (from the previous owner of the house). They then got started on removing the pool cover and assembling the pool filter. We thought they also were cleaning the pool, as one of them did a little bit of brushing while the other completed assembling the filter. They also told us that within the next couple of days, all that would be left was a small amount of dirt on the bottom of the pool. They talked with us throughout the process of setting things up and stated what they were doing, though along the way stated that they were not certain about several things (such as how often we needed to add the DE powder). They also identified something we need to replace (a broken pole) and two things we need to purchase (a vacuum head and skim vac). They were very friendly, but they did not leave us with a lot of confidence in their services. Still, we made a stop at the shop later that day to buy the pole, vacuum head, and skim vac. Unfortunately, it went down hill after that. When we went to the pool two days later, we found the pool was filthy. The bottom had a thick layer of dirt and dead worms. With the vacuum, we were able to get a lot of it up, but a layer of dirt still sits there after 4 days, including 3 efforts to vacuum. The first time we vacuumed, we learned we already had the skim vac - but the crew did not know what it was when they saw it; we immediately knew when we got home and compared it to the one we had just bought. We also had a couple of other questions, so began doing some on-line research, after which we realized that the supplies they sold us (totaling almost $300) were not compatible with the Pool Frog system on our pool. We are in the process of trying to work out some of these issues with the owner, but at this time, we would definitely not recommend using this company. The owner is sincere and nice, as is his crew, but I am not sure that the crew is qualified for the services they are providing. FINAL UPDATE: The proprietor of this business has done nothing to resolve our concerns; to the contrary, he has disclaimed any responsibility for the services he failed to provide and the problems with the services that were provided. He even hung up on us twice when we were talking on the phone and trying to resolve the problems. We would strongly encourage everyone to avoid this business.
Description of Work: They opened our pool for the summer, including assembling the filter, adding chemicals to the pool, and installing the hand railing. They also sold us an initial supply of chemicals to continue maintaining the pool. UPDATE: Two days after they were here, we went to the pool to find that the cleaning was only a surface cleaning and that - contrary to what they had said - the bottom of the pool was covered with a layer of dirt and debris, including dead worms. They had cleaned leaves and some other items off the top and said the filter would do the rest, but that has turned out to be very untrue. They also sold us pool chemicals, which we have since learned are not designed for the special system installed with our filter. FINAL UPDATE: After learning more about pools, we have additional concerns about the services provided. We learned, for example, that petroleum lubricant should NOT be used on the o-rings, since it can break down rubber. The service had a large container of Vaseline, which it slathered all over our rubber o-rings. We have since purchased a lubricant/sealant from a pool supply store that will not be harmful to the pool equipment.

They really take care of you and it is a pleasure to buy from them. We did not really shop around because we like to support local and they are so great.
Description of Work: When we purchased our home we needed to find a good place to buy supplies and get recommendations on the care of our hot tub. These people are the sweetest and most knowledgeable people you could hope to find. Bob visited our home and brought things for us to select and taught us what we needed to know. He had to order a small fitting for us and when it proved hard to obtain he GAVE us a used one he had laying around his shop.
