Mr. Handyman of Martinsburg and Charles Town

Workman performed several tasks last week and promised to return to complete the work. It's been about a week and so far I haven't heard from anyone about scheduling completion of the work. Only consolation is that I haven't paid for anything yet.

I so appreciated that the handyman reviewed the exact project needs before starting, and did a fabulous job!

The technician was on time and did an exemplary job.

From the first conversation with Liz to the final one with Lee when paying the bill , this experience was as pleasant and easy as any contract service could be for a homeowner. I will be using this company again.

The technician was pleasant and got straight to work on replacing our mucn needed split rails. He stayed on task; however, rather than making cuts to produce a nice tapered end to slide into the fence post, he made cuts on several of the rails that look like he hacked wildly at the wood with an ax. Functionally fine...aesthetically Yuck!

I hired Mr. Handyman to prepare our house for painting. Many of the fascia boards and window frames were rotted and needed to be replaced. Their original estimate of cost was impressively low. I should have realized that this was so because the estimate was made from the ground and the state of the boards was not verified. Shortly after they started work, they realized that there was more to replace than they anticipated, so at a slightly higher fee the extra work was included. The result was that while their workmanship was very good, they left here with a grossly incomplete preparation of the house. Our painters had to replace 5 more fascia boards that the Mr. Handyman crew failed to realize needed replacement. Needless to say, I would not hire this group again.

The serviceman was very friendly and cordial. I would hire again. Beware that if you have large pieces of wood/trash they probably won't take it. It cost's them money so they will ask that you take it to recycling. Small/general cleanup they will do and is no problem. The more you can purchase before hand is beneficial as it will be cheaper.

We have used Mr. Handyman's services before. They are professional, thorough and complete the work in a timely and cost effective manner. They are starting our screen project today. Their technician Chris is 'the best'.

I was initially hesitant to go with a "handyman service," but this company was the most responsive of the ones I contacted, and the service, quality, and value were all tremendous. I will use them going forward! I was amazed!

The handyman didn't provide the best size wood to replace the railing according to specification. He told me the piece of lumber he got was all there was. I found out that wasn't so.

He was nice and did a good job. He was also on time!

Mr. Handyman was very responsive and was able to send out someone quickly to enlarge the space needed to install my new Jenn-Air downdraft range. The company contracted by Sears had left the range in my kitchen after determining that it was slightly too large to fit in the space. The handyman was very knowledgeable and took care to ensure that the job was done with no damage to the existing cabinets or counter. I am sorry that I arranged with Sears to have the range installed. I would have been better off working directly with Mr. handyman because it took 5 days to have the range installed.

They showed up on time and were very professional. They repaired the burst pipe and then came back two days later after the wall had dried and repaired the wall and painted it.
