+ -1 moreDid all the work quickly and effectively. Had to come back a second day to finish the waterproofing of the chimney. I have used this contractor for chimney cleaning, wood stove installation and repairs. He gets in and gets it done quickly and for a reasonable price. Sometimes slow on communication re: date of work to be done but does get back to you even if a bit slow. I plan to and will use him again for chimney cleaning and repair work.
Description of Work: Cleaned chimney, sealed chimney exterior, replaced gasket on wood stove door.

Description of Work: I had a water leak and he replaced plaster on the walls and ceiling that had been damaged. He also replaced some woodwork on the front of the house.

+ 0 moreWent well. Too three trips to complete job. First day determined a special type of cement was needed. Returned day 2 - replaced fire bricks, day 3 - removed and installed new propoane gas unit.
Description of Work: Replacment of several fire bricks in fire box. Remove old gas log unit and install a new unit.

+ 2 moreThey were prompt to return calls and provide an estimate. They did the work they had scheduled when they said they would. They took the time to order the warranted parts (I didn't know they could be replaced for free). Before leaving they showed me how to light the stove
Description of Work: I purchased a used wood burning stove and contacted Sir Thomas Chimney Sweeps to deliver it and install it. They were very knowledgable about the requirements for a proper installation and also were able to obtain warranty parts free since the original owner provided purchase receipts. This saved me money. They had to pick up and transport the cast iron stove from Edens Fork and transport it to my home. This required several men. They also picked up the used triple wall pipe which was part of my original purchase. They had to make an opening in my basement wall which proved to be mor difficult than expected since the block was more like concrete than cinder block. They installed an external triple wall stainless steel chimney. They performed the worked as described in thier estimate even though it was a complicated installation. They were reliable and performed the work when they they said they would. Overall I was very pleased with the quality and professionalism of this company and would use them again.

Description of Work: This company sold and installed for us a fireplace incert, a chimney liner in the existing masonary chimney and a chimney cap. Their estimate was good. They were in and out the same day, did what they commited to and were clean.I've used the fireplace now for a winter and it appears to be doing a good job. After the fireplace incert was installed there was an issue with the blower motor. They handled the warranty problem quickly and at no additional charge. I'll have the work inspected this summer and if anything changes I'll update this report.

+ 0 moreThey have done work for us before so I was not surprised at any of their work The project went very well and Both JEFF and JOE were very conscientious and quality driven. They took their time in answering even non job related questions. They arrived as scheduled and worked quickly and efficiently. In retrospect I may have overpaid a little on some of the assignments, but my wife and I are very happy with the results. I think they may have stayed here a day longer than originally planned. Even when reinstalling an old toilet, where a gasket was broken, they took the time needed to fix it at no additional cost. I like these two guys and highly recommend them

+ -1 moreThey came when they said they would. Gave me an estimate and a description of the work to be done. Went well, nice clean up, employees very friendly, they pointed out the damaged plywood on the roof but did not insist that the repairs be made. The replaced brick looks very good and the flashing looks great. We plan to use them again on other home repairs. After the job was completed, I was a bit troubled when they did not return my request for a new task. I could not tell if they were too busy or just did not want to do the job.
Description of Work: Repair leaks in roof, replace flashing, water seal 2 chimneys, replace bricks on damaged chimneys, cover 2 windows with aluminum flashing, repair and replace shingles, built concrete crown on two chimneys.
