Honestly, when I saw how young the two technicians were when they came to do the installation I thought , Oh my gosh what have I got myself into. But those two boys, Braxton and Bud were AMAZING!! They were polite, efficient to a flaw and did a better job then most men twice their age. They knew the Mitsubishi system backwards and forwards. They left my home in better shape then they found it. I know now why Total Tech has an A+ rating with the BBB. Even the owner came by to make sure a "hiccup" in the installation was taken care of. We was happy to hear the owner Steve say he would make any problems we may have, Right!! but he is sure we won't have any. If you are looking for a heating or cooling system. It would be in your best interest to give Total Tech a call. I did my research and compared them with other companies and their prices couldn't be beat. They can do the job cheaper and more effectively then any company out there. And they stand behind their work!!! Give them an opportunity and I know you will be the next customer writing a letter of recommendation just like myself. Thank you Total Tech for truly performing above anything I imagined.
Description of Work: Installed a Mitsubishi heating and cooling ductless system in our log home. Actually it took 2 - 3 ton units to cover the square footage of our home and and 5 indoor blower headsets. The outdoor units were Mitsubishi multi-zone 36,000btu unit MXZ-4B36 and MXZ-4B36NA and the indoor units were 3 - 18,000btu MSZ-GE18NA Units and 2- 9,000btu MSZ GE09NA Units. They installed them completely a turnkey job.

They do what it needs to be done. They put the thermostat and it works okay. They did what it has to be done but they turn around and charged somebody else and charged $600. He had nothing he can do he had to get it fixed. I would not use them again in the future.
Description of Work: They came in and put a new A/C and put the thermostat.

(1) My Trane A/C unit, installed new 8/2012 by Total Tech LLC, Frankford, West Virginia, did not work when turned on @ the end of 5/2013. I called Total Tech LLC for a yearly service & informed A/C down. On 5/31/2013 Total Tech LLC performed a routine yearly service & found a 20 amp circuit breaker had tripped on the breaker box; A/C now working; paid $95.40 for the yearly service. During the week of 7/7/2013 (a very hot week), the A/C went down again; called Total Tech LLC. (2) On 7/12/2013 Total Tech LLC's technician found the A/C unit was "freezing up" & needed a new "TXV" part, which was ordered from Trane in Texas, & would take a week to get to Frankford, WV. (3) 7/18/2013, Total Tech technician returned with the new TXV & found that Trane had sent the wrong "TXV." A correct "TXV" was located in Beckley, WV, driven to Frankford, WV, then placed on the technician's truck, arrived for installation at my home in Marlinton, WV on 7/19/2013. (3)The technician installed the correct "TXV" and checked operation; system properly working at this time. At 5:00 pm on 7/19/2013 system down again & called Total Tech LLC to get back here and fix the problem. (4) The technician arrived at 6:15 pm, took another stab-at-it, found nothing wrong but would return on Tuesday, 7/22/2013 to replace a 20 amp circuit breaker on the breaker box. The technician did not call the morning of 7/22/2013, so I called Total Tech LLC's owner, Kim Kellison to ask when the technician would arrive and she replied "We think you should get someone else" and billed me $159.00 for one (1) hour overtime. Well, I did get "someone else" and the new A/C company found that the unit was pulling 25 amps from a 20 amp breaker causing the breaker to trip when the outside temperature went up. Now this should have been addressed when the new unit was installed in 2012 by Total Tech LLC. Also the new company found that the new "TXV sensing bulb" was incorrectly mounted by Total Tech LLC, which was re-mounted by the new company. Since Total Tech LLC was initially responsible for the installation of the new A/C unit & all functions thereof, including correct amp usage, and incorrectly installing the TXV part, and never solving the problem, I would NOT RECOMMENT TOTAL TECH LLC to anyone. Please do as I was told by Kim Kellison " GET SOMEONE ELSE."
Description of Work: Nothing! Did not fix the A/C problem but billed me $159.00 for the 4th service visit for the same problem
