Milestone Solar Consultants owned and operated by Bill Anderson did our install. We purposely waited 5 to 6 months before doing a review because new stuff always does good in the beginning but what about months later? We wanted it before the Winter set in and he made that happen. It took a week for the install. ALL his workers were polite, courteous and knowledgeable about what they were doing. We had the batteries and analyzers placed in our basement. There were no boxes, wiring or any trash left lying around anywhere. They even swept. They left my house better then they found it. Mr Anderson promised us a turnkey job and that's exactly what we got. All the wiring from the outside mounting racks to the basement equipment looks like a piece of art. Their attention to even the smallest detail is second to none! Even though they are a 4 1/2 hour drive from us anytime we called him (Mr Anderson) made himself available to us and was ready to drive down immediately to address any concerns or issues we had even if they turned out to be unwarranted. This shows his dedication to what he is doing and he will do whatever is needed to see both his solar system and the customer is always happy. We've already experienced 3 power outages with our Electric Company and we didn't even know it. The solar system's batteries kicked in so efficiently and quickly that our digital clocks don't even start blinking. When the power comes back on the batteries switch back to stand by without us having to do a thing. The whole system runs itself. We are already producing credits to the Electric Company in the winter/spring months. We also ran our home on just the solar system itself, going completely off the grid (in the winter) and ran everything easily for 4 or 5 days. Which is exactly what Mr Anderson said it would do. He has the credentials and expertise to answer any questions you pose to him. None of that, "Well I don't know, I will have to check on that question and get back with you". Which we had with other big name solar installers. Milestone Solar came into our home as strangers and left as family. Any and ALL questions were answered by Mr Anderson or his crew completely and there were a lot of them! And we know he will ALWAYS be just a phone call away if we have more questions or need him in any way. And that speaks volumes!! If you are looking to put in a Solar Array system, it would be to your advantage to have a quote from Milestone Solar. His prices can't be beat ESPECIALLY when he uses ONLY top quality equipment and materials. We looked at many different systems from other companies but Milestone Solar stood out by miles...no pun intended :-)

Bill is a great guy to work, very professional, knowledgeable and is a no pressure type of saleman. Milestone had the most competitive price and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They did not return my calls or emails for a quote

Bill Anderson, engineer and company owner, personally came to our home to answer questions and do a free site survey. He returned the next week with a detailed, written plan and cost estimate for a Grid-tied, battery back-up PV solar system for our home. I really appreciate the fact that he listened carefully to what we wanted from a solar system and then designed a plan that met our needs. He kept us informed about schedules and was always available to answer any questions we had. Bill took care of all the building permits, inspection appointments, and worked with the local power company to get our net-meter installed. The construction crew was always on time and did an excellent job of constructing the framework for our ground mount system with minimal damage to the rest of the yard. Phil, the electrical engineer who wired the system, did an excellent job. His wiring is practically a work of art! It took a little while for the parts to our system to arrive, but once everything was here the process was relatively quick. I should note here that Milestone Solar evaluates each customer's needs and puts together a personalized system. There is no cookie cutter, one size fits all mentality at Milestone. The components for each system are specific to the job. I am more than satisfied that Bill chose some of the industry's best and most reliable components for our system. These components have 15 to 25 year warranties depending on the specific piece of equipment. And even though our system has been up and running for a month now, I know that the Milestone Solar team provides after sale follow-up and they are just a phone call away if I ever have a question or problem. I should also note that Bill Anderson is one of the first engineers in the country to pass the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Photovoltaic (PV) Technical Sales Exam. Milestone Solar is licensed and insured, and Bill was happy to provide references that I could contact. In fact, I did speak with several individuals and one municipal official who had contracted with Milestone Solar in the past. Every person was very happy with their experience with Milestone. If you are interested in having a PV solar system installed, you can not go wrong with Milestone Solar. We were very impressed with the professionalism and craftsmanship of the entire Milestone team.
