He did an outstanding job with the task he was given. While at the job, I asked him to assist me with a another project I had wanted done for some time. He had to dig a hole right next to the house. I thought for sure, he was going to go into the house with huge equipment. I enjoyed watching him become one with the machine. He was very skillful the way he got so close to the house and was able to dig out a big hole. The frost made it challenging, but he knew exactly what he was doing, and did it well. I would not hesitate to have him back again. His price was reasonable, and his service was outstanding. He is a very talented excavator. He knows what he is doing!

Delays in pool effort has placed septic project on hold until 2015.

Second time I've used Greg and Liberty Excavation. Couldn't be happier. We recently had some major site preparation work for a pole building we were constructing in WV at our cabin. The site was nearly 5ft out of level when measuring corner to corner. Greg is a master with the backhoe and skid steer. He removed all of the stumps and leveled the site to within 1" corner to corner. Pole barn company was impressed!! If you want someone you can trust, and who will do it right, Greg is your guy.

I notified Liberty Excavating (Greg Dash) in reference to our septic system pump alarm. Greg had installed the system in the summer of 2013. It was mid-day on a Saturday and I was prepared to leave a message and wait. To my surprise, he answered the call, dropped what he was doing and came on-site immediately. The problem turned out to be not serious but it was a great relief to have him be that conscientious of his customers' needs.

Greg is great he came to the house and looked over the issues and provided me several options. He also provided me with contact information to get the diagrams we would need. He even dug by hand trying to locate the problem. All of this at no charge. Once we set the appointment forthe work to bedone he and his son arrived a little later than expected,however,being the professional that he is he contacted me to let me know. Once they were there they went immediately to work and were very thorough in the work even had us test things throughout the process. He had to make a couple trips to Lowe's for pipe fittings but this was to be expected for our old piping. He even moved a tree for us at no extra cost. He allowed me to watch the entire process and answered any questions I had completely and professionally. My wife and I prefer to do business with smaller local companies and people like Greg are the reason why. His level of pride and professionalism dwarfs any competition. Especially ones that won't return calls. If I EVER need any more excavations Greg will be my FIRST and ONLY call.

Outstanding! Greg ran the excavator & had a man to haul brush out of my way while I ran the chain saw. I've cleared other lots before & I wish I had Greg on those jobs. While estimating it would take 6 dump truck loads to remove the stumps, it only took 2! Mainly because he took the time to clean most of the dirt from them, situated the stumps so I could usually make a 2nd cut on the stump to keep them as small as possible, & loaded as the truck driver requested. A 3 day job actually ended in a day & half as far as the tree & stump removal but he insisted that while he was there that the site could be cleaned up better & make it easier on me by allowing him do some grading & spreading the brush out. Greg met me on site a few weeks earlier, listened to what I wanted to accomplish, offered welcomed suggestions & put some proposals together with options for me to choose to satisfy my needs/wants. He took a sincere interest in my project & knowing my end goal is to construct a new home, offered other contractors who may be able to assist me in my efforts. Currently being an out-of -state resident, all his communication & expertise was greatly appreciated.

Liberty Excavating is a small company striving to achieve customer satisfaction at a personal level not always found with larger ones. Work on our project progressed well in-spite of difficult weather; workers were professional, accommodating of customer requests, and were adept at providing solutions to unique situations. Work scope included dirt excavating, septic system installation, well pump installation and installing indoor plumbing. Greg Dash (owner) was always thinking of how to make the project better and more suited to the customer and was also helpful in securing additional contractor for work outside his own scope. Greg kept me informed of permit status' and delays while doing his best at managing them as part of the overall work project. I would recommend them to someone else.

He was very professional and courteous. I did not use them because of price. I do not think he was really clear on my needs because it was not his specialty.

Job went better than expected. My wife and I couldn't be more thrilled with outcome of the job. Greg was fantastic to work with, he was extremely communicative, and delivered beyond expectation. We highly recommend Greg and would use him in the future for additional work at our property.

Greg was punctual and professional. He was willing to come out and look at a potential problem with the drain field in our septic system. We already had the cover open for him to examine, which he was willing to do. Turns out the field was ok and the septic system was in good shape. Since we are new to this type of sewage system he went over the basics on how our particular system worked, how to maintain it and keep it working properly. Greg is a stand up guy, didn't charge us anything for his advice and time. You just can't find that type of customer service these days. If we need help he is definitely our #1 choice. In the meantime, I will recommend him to anyone who asks. Thanks Greg!

Our home is located in a low spot in our neighborhood. We had a problem with water in our basement due to improper grading in the backyard and no drainage tiles along the foundation of the house. . We asked Greg Nash/Liberty Excavating to drop over to give us a quote on the work we needed done under our back deck/porch. He came over as arranged and listened as my husband described the work we needed to be completed. He paid attention and reviewed the situation very thoughtfully, then made a few measurements and discussed his ideas with my husband. . We received a quote from him within a few a days, and it was well written and thorough with respect to the work we wanted done and was priced accordingly. The initial quote was more than we could afford, but Greg was willing to work with us to get the major work done for an amount we could afford and let the finish work for us to complete. . Greg was prompt in arriving to work and he stayed well past dark getting things done. He was willing to explain things to me (the wife asking questions) and his answers were professional but also explained in a way that I could understand, that made sense. He has a very pleasant personality, too, and when I offered that he could use our mud-room bathroom he was concerned about tracking mud into the house. . He was able to handle unexpected complications with our site and quickly remedied the problems using commonsense and old-fashioned ingenuity. He was VERY professional and competent in the way he worked and and got the job done. When my husband made a couple of suggestions, Greg listened and considered the options and was willing to work with the ideas and adjust the location of the sump pump set-up. . Greg did a great job with keeping the worksite clean, too, and the yard barely looks like there was a backhoe in our yard. Speaking of the backhoe, we were really impressed with the surgical precision Greg used when he was excavating along the back wall of our home. . We highly recommend Greg Nash and Liberty Excavating for the work he did on our home. He's the kind of guy you'd LOVE to have as a next-door neighbor.

Liberty said the work would start on 02/02/12 and completed by 02/07/12. we now enjoy a new septic system, and driveway. i have watched many excavators work in my day but have never seen anyone as fast and hard working as Liberty Excavating. this guy showed up, and we all know how it feels to be let down by our contractors, let this company change your mind. He was able to come out the next day and stood in our yard for three hours in the pouring rain until everything was fixed. He took care of it all. He is excellent and decently priced. He's a very nice man also.
