Description of Work: Mother's yard work.

Description of Work: I moved to a new home in September 2010. There was quite a bit of grass to cut and it had not been cut for several months. I called Decker's Lawn Care to come and give me an estimate. He did come out an gave me an estimate. His men came and cut the grass which was high and on hillsides. The price was $143.10. The next spring in May 2011 I called and requested they come out and cut the same grass. Again it was high and I needed a first cut before I could do it myself. I did not ask for an estimate as it was the same exact grass and approximately the same height as in September 2010. They came and cut the grass on several different days, having to use a brush hog on part of the upper field which they used the year before too. The only difference that I saw was that they picked up some grass clippings below one hill. I was home at the time and took a picture of these guys, five of them, one picking up grass at a slow pace and the the other four watching him. When I got the bill I was shocked to see that it was $781.22. I called Mr. Decker immediately, he would hardly listen to my complaint. And his only answer to me in why the huge difference from last year was that prices had gone up. I told him he should have told me of the price jump before agreeing to come back to my place. I told him I thought it was his responsiblity to tell me that there was a price increase, because if he had I would never have agreed to have them come back to my home. He did not want to hear any of my complaints and simply said he had bills to pay just like everyone else. I wrote him a letter, once again trying to get him to adjust the price, lowering to a more reasonable amount but he did not respond to my letter. I paid an initial $100.00 , then a couple payments of $50.00 (I believe) and since then I have been paying $15.00 a month. He was rude to me on the phone. I tried to explain that that amount was a house payment to me and I would never had agreed to having them provide their services at that price. I have never heard from him again, I just continue to pay $15.00. I feel an honest business man would have told me the prices had increased. He made no mention of it at all. I was very upset and he knew it, did not matter to him. I put something about this situation on Facebook without mentioning his name or company name and I immediatley had several people respond that they knew who I was talking about because he had done the same thing to them.
