We could not have been more pleased with the service we received from Mr. Huffman. The wind blew shingles off of our roof. One contractor came out and made a repair. Two days later, the new shingles were gone. He finally came back a week later and repaired again. That night, those blew off. That contractor never returned our calls for the next 3 weeks, so we called a different contractor, who made the repair. The next week, that row and the row ABOVE them came off. This continued 4 more times. Neither of these contractors were punctual with returning phone calls after being paid. I finally was put in touch with Mr. Huffman through Angies List. By this time, we decided to replace shingles on that side of the house that gets the most wind. Mr. Huffman gave us an estimate, and, since it would be 4-5 weeks before he could re-shingle that side, he replaced the missing shingles. Before he was able to re-shingle that half of the house, he came out 2 more times for us because shingles in other areas were loose. Surprisingly, or maybe not, he would not accept any money for any of those trips. His price for the re-roof job was very reasonable, and his workers were polite and worked without complaining, even though it was nearly 100 degrees that day. Mr. Huffman took the time to explain why the other contractors' work didn't hold up, and what he would do differently. We have had several huge wind storms, including one that came through last night and was said to have 60 + mph winds. The roof is still intact, and we haven't had any problems at all with the work he did for us. I have recommended Mr. Huffman to a couple of our neighbors who've had the same problems we did, and I would certainly not hesitate to call him again.

They came out quickly for the estimate. We called them about a month ago and told them that we would use them if they still had the same price. I called back to see if they could sign the proposal, and I didn't get a call back. I copied it, signed it, and mailed it. I haven't heard it from them, and it's been two or three weeks. I called and didn't get an answer. I don't know if it will work out or not.
