We were very pleased with Kasey and his team. They stoned our existing island, added a backsplash, and completed for us a Butler's Pantry area that included installing cabinetry and stacked stone, along with a few other unforeseen tasks. Kasey was very quick to respond, helped us price shop and had great ideas for finishing touches that hadn't even occurred to us. He worked patiently with our cabinet and countertop supplier and made the whole remodel go very seamlessly. We would recommend Harris Company Builders in a heartbeat!

Response from Harris Company Builders
Thank you [Member Name Removed]! We don't like to run into problems because it translates to more dollars for the homeowner. In this case, there was a hump in the roof in the front of the house. The issue may have been there from the original build decades ago or it may have developed over time due to the improper venting of the roof. To fix the issue we removed several sheets of plywood from the roof and cut down the existing 2 x 6 truss about 3/4 to a full inch. After some reinforcement we installed new plywood and the hump was gone. We also properly vented the roof at the ridge to allow for the adequate amount of air flow. Some other things we did while we were there included cleaning the white gutters with an environmentally safe cleaner and replaced an unsightly deck board on the back deck. We finished up with screw down gutter guards on all gutters. The old gutter guards wouldn't go back on due to the design. [Member Name Removed] was a great customer. He was understanding when the install went past the original schedule. He was a return customer which is one of the best things in this business!
