The provider was able to provide next day service and called prior to arriving. The man who provided the service, Tyler Jones, was very professional and friendly. He explained everything that he was doing and answered all questions. He completed the work in an efficient manner and did not charge for the second visit. The furnace has operated correctly since this repair. I am very satisfied with the repair and with the way the service was performed.
Description of Work: Follow-up on previous visit on 11-15-13. Furnace was not kicking on and staying on, but on 11-15-13 this problem did not occur during the service call and no problems could be identified. Problem began again and water was leaking from bottom of furnace. On 11-20-13, the provider cleaned the flue pipe trap which was stopped up and fixed a rubber hose clamp that was not on properly. There was no charge for the second visit.

They charged me a bundled rate like Home Depot for replacing the toilet and that included a travel charge. Then I was charged for travel again on top of that. The toilet install work itself was fine. I was not pleased with how they chose to repair the cut wire. My expectation was that they would have replaced it. All they did is splice it and put a cap on it. I could say more about another business decision that they made that led me to going elsewhere in the future, but I'll leave it there. I attribute this to some greediness as well as taking advantage of the fact that I live out of state. My sister was there for me and I talked to her while they were there, but that still isn't the same as them having to deal with the homeowner face to face. Prior to that I had them do work for me such as replacing a water tank and it was a good experience. The low score for professionalism was due to charging me twice for travel, the cheapo repair on the wire, and the other issue that has to do with business practice. I'm hesitant about saying I would not use them again at all. Since they HAVE done good work for me in the past and have otherwise had a good reputation, I would just say be careful and get comparative estimates. This may be more about how businesses are changing these days rather than a good one going bad.
Description of Work: They replaced a toilet and were to fix my a/c fan where the wire outside had been cut with a weed eater. The date is a wild guess. It was circa two years ago, no further back than three.

Their charging practices were exuberant. They charged me twice for travel charges on the same day. The commode already included a built in traveling charge.
Description of Work: I hired them to replace a commode and reconnected the air condition line from the inside to the unit outside.

My home protection insurance put me with them. Called on 10/29 and the guy came out and looked at the problem and determined I needed pipe and drain lines replaced. A 4 hour job. Scheduled it for 11/4 as this was the first slot he had open and I was home. No show no call no nothing. Called when it reached the 4 hours left window (since no overtime allowed) and was told the scheduled AC technician (for my plumbing work) had called in sick and could we reschedule. Rescheduled for 11/6. No show no call no nothing. On calling was informed that they had to have the deductible upfront or they couldn't call in claim (first time this was needed up front) Charged credit card and was again scheduled for 11/11. No show no call. Still hadn't heard from them by 11/13 so called insurance. They called them and was told I hadn't been available (gee the time off from work was nice but no work no pay) So once again they scheduled again for 11/18. Work was done. Smoke alarm set off. Alarm company not happy with me now and I have an all brass (ie gold finish) bathroom with pretty chrome colored parts now on the two parts they replaced. You would think that long they could at least get the right color finish on the parts or take the time to ask me if changing the color was acceptable. Oh and the ceiling on my kitchen now needs redone from all the water that came through it during the wait and the couple gallon that seem to have came down on it during the repair.
Description of Work: Drain and feed supplies to the tub on second floor replaced due to leakage. Cost covered by Insurance company after deductible.

Took a little while to get in but work done professionally. Gave me a pretty good deal on a unit that had been dented since mine is located in a basement and not seen.
Description of Work: Purchased a new gas furnace and AC Unit.
