Their estimate was lower than the others I had and we agreed on a date for the work. They called when they were on their way and arrived on time and got right to work. They cleaned the flue and stove and wire brushed and refinished the cap with rustoleum paint and replace the wire screen around the flue cap as I has having birds getting in the flue.

I had The Lone Chimney Sweeper clean my pellet stove. The were on time and professional. After the face there was a minor problem with the stove that they promptly came back and rectified. I would not hesitate to recommend them and plan on using them for my annual cleaning in the future.

It was for myour daughters fireplace. The fireplace was deemed unusable and my daughter decided that it was too expensive for her to fix right now. He gave us several alternatives, But my daughter was only going to use it for cosmetic reasons.they left the place is clean as it was when I got there and wore their little stove top hat. After which they posed for pictures. If we do use anyone it will be them.

They arrived a few minutes early but started working immediately. They removed their shoes and left the room spotless - nobody would be able to tell they had been in my home if I didn't tell them. I was able to pay for the services with a credit card and received a receipt immediately. The news they had about my chimney was not good but that was no fault of the Chimney Sweep. The mortar between the tiles has eroded and the flue is not safe to have a fire in the insert. They recommended the insert be replaced (the current insert is over 30 years old and has three exhaust holes) and a liner be placed inside the chimney to allow safe fires. They reviewed this info. with me after completion of services and showed me pictures of the missing mortar on a table. I received a printed report within minutes of them leaving that also included the written recommendations and pictures as well.

The Sweeper arrived a little early, and called before they came. Very polite. At one point, one of the men was looking up the chimney and as he started to stand up the other one, very quickly informed him his sleeve was dirty, so he wouldn't get ashes on my carpet. I think they left the place cleaner then when they came, and I'm not just talking about my chimney. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family. I will use them again, without hesitation.

First, the owner didn't come to the originally scheduled appointment and left my wife waiting all day. Since there are no other chimney specialists that I could find in the nearby area, I tried him again. It was over a week later when we did finally get an appointment fulfilled. He came with his apprentice and was very polite. They looked at my chimney, said electric fireplace only, and tried to leave. They didn't offer solutions or recommendations voluntarily. It was difficult trying to get any advice. They left with my $100, but leaving me no more knowledgeable than when they came. It is now 2 months later and I had to call and give them my email address a 3rd time in order to get my report. When I got the report, it had a total of 4 sentences on it. It is truly unfortunate that this company did not in any way live up to its former reviews.

The top of the chimney had already been closed off at the top but my heat was all going up the two story fireplace. I had another estimate that was much more expensive from another chimney business. Due to the fact that these guys used an old damper, I got a nice reduction in the price. I loved the fact that I was using an old piece of a chimney made for this purpose.

Service was prompt, courteous and on schedule. Dealt with a shipping error by the stove company seemlessly.

Using modern equipment, he was able to show me a crack that had developed in the entire length of the flue. Pictured crack was part of a detailed report we received by e-mail later that day.

Very good. We are unable to have any work done right now due to protected chimney swifts nesting in the chimney. As soon as they begin migration I will have a thorough cleaning and caps installed. Perhaps an insert by The Lone Chimney Sweep.
