The First Response employee set an appointment with my mother, then showed up an hour and forty five minutes late. He walked through the house and gathered the information he needed to prepare an estimate. Over the course of the next two weeks, my mother and I contacted First Response several times asking when they might be able to get the estimate back to us. Finally, my mother spoke to a supervisor who said that they could give us a quote, but they'd have to charge us $500 since the quote was so labor intensive.
Description of Work: I asked First Response to come to my mother's house to give us an estimate on repairing water damage, including potential mold remediation.

+ -1 moreThey were recommended by our insurance company for major plumbing problem and they were great. They came right out and they were responsive in answering our questions. They also let us know step by step what they are doing and what they were gonna have to do. It was a big job and it was something that we weren't expecting.
Description of Work: When we had a major plumbing problem we used the First Response Restoration. We also had the moisture remediation from them.

+ 0 moreThey contract out and the first two painters were very good and did an excellent job. It was a husband and wife team from Kentucky. She brought down my valences so I could wash them. She was very thoughtful. They couldn't come back to finish the work so two men came in to paint and shampoo our carpets. The upstairs and downstairs is about 2400 square feet. It took them about 35-45 minutes and that did seem pretty quick. I do believe the job still got the dirt up, but not much attention was made to stains. The guy that was in charge seemed to forget some important things and even made a mistake of getting the wrong paint. He wanted us to pay extra for this mistake. He even bargained with us to just pay for the paint and not the labor. I feel like the guy was nice and personable. He made sure we were happy, but some of those professional points kind of turned us off to hiring him again.
Description of Work: They painted all of our walls upstairs and the ceilings. They replaced a piece on the roof. It was a pipe and they sealed. It was a minor roof repair. They also fixed the damaged drywall and corners of the upstairs where the roof had leaked and patched and painted our garage ceiling.

They did a great job. When they were done all I had to do was arrange the furniture.
Description of Work: They pulled up my carpet after a flood and brought fans in and a dehumidifier. They brought in an air purifier. They put in new padding, carpet, and insulation.
