Never showed when said they would. Never called

I left messages for Travis on 2/9 & 2/11, NO call was returned. I called another provider, Coal River Remodeling, yesterday, Joe responded immediately, showed up today, we agreed on the cost which will be performed next week, weather permitting.

Travis is great to work with! He was on time, brought everything he needed, and was very professional. Our old door was not installed correctly so I was worried about how the installation of the new door would go, but it is perfect! The seal is nice and tight and it looks 100 times better than the old one. Now the cold air will stay out in the winter and our kitchen will stay cool in the summer. We will definitely use this company again in the future. Thanks, Travis!

I can not say enough about this company. They kept me informed and were a pleasre to work with. Tenants were impressed and so was I. Promises only what he can get done what the time frame will be. I really like the fact he wasn't one of those folks that tell you what you want to hear rather than what they can deliver GREAT COMPANY.

Everything went as planned.

We've been dealing with Bud. It's been wonderful. We're slowly working through the rooms and they're doing an excellent job. They did a complete bathroom and are building a home theater. They've added crown molding, done painting, outside work and inside work.

Although his estimate was excellent, someone else beat it. I ended up going with them. I will surely give Travis a shot at the next job I need done here.

Cost versus estimates were spot on. All work done very professionally. HGM Services performed all work as stated and then some. Some minor sheet rock repairs were made and finished out for painting at no extra charge. We are VERY impressed with this contractor and have already given the business contacts to several friend/ acquaintances. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

No work was performed. Didn't even get an estimated. Have had this same problem with 2 other contractors, one of which has not even bothered to return my call. Incidentally I got their names from Angie's list also.

Fixed flooring that was almost ready to fall in. Replaced joist under floor & leveled up the floor. Insulted main trunk line to furnace & air conditioning. Put down moisture barrier under the house. Fixed side crawl space door. Put in new insulation under house. Remodeled entire bathroom & laundry room. Gutted all walls & put in new sheetrock. Completely rearranged the layout of my new bathroom. Put in new walk-in shower, new toilet, new vanity & mirror, new vinyl flooring in each room. Built new towel closet in bathroom. New lights in bathroom. Put new base & wall cabinets in laundry room & replaced all old door with brand new doors. All new electrical & plumbing work. Had to relocate some plumbing & register returns. Painted all rooms & ceiling work. And lot more extra stuff. Too much to list. GREAT guys! Work very quietly & clean up areas very good everyday. Very knowledgeable about just anything you need done around your home. I hated to see them leave. Very friendly guys. Definitely will hire them back for future jobs. Already getting an estimate for another project. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!!!!!

The building of my deck for my swimming pool went GREAT! I have a 15 x 30 ft. oval pool in a tight space on the side of my house. I only had enough room on one side of the pool for a deck. They made the deck curve around like a half moon. The deck is very sturdy! The definitely went the extra-mile to make it look very professional! Bud even told me how to keep up maintenance on the deck so it would last for years to come. If I had any questions, they definitely could answer them. They even made suggestions on the design. GREAT WORK GUYS!!

All the work was performed efficiently and as quietly as possible. The carpentry, dry wall, and painting were beautifully done. the other maintenance was done well and in a timely fashion. Travis and Bud have worked for me off and on for about a year and a half. They have been in my home alone numerous times. I fully trust their honesty and work ethic.

Very friendly and hard working, a good experience. I would have no reservations hiring Travis again.

Travis arrived to give me an estimate promptly on a Saturday afternoon, and we agreed that they would begin working the following weekend. Again, they arrive at the exact time we agreed upon, and immediate started to work on pressure washing the house and decks. While working on the decks it was mentioned that the gutters needed to be cleaned, which they did at NO extra charge. There were places on the house that had been stained when the upper deck was stained. I knew they were there and had tried to clean them myself, so it was no surprise they couldn't remove them either. Yet they tried very hard to remove these stains and when they couldn't, came to get me to show me and explain what they had done. Everything else was totally spotless when they finished with the pressure washing. Also, I had mentioned I had a leak around a vent on my roof, since they also do roof repair or replacement. Buddy, the second man in the partnership, went up on the roof, checked it and caulked the area that was the problem. Again, NO extra charge, even though I had said I would be happy to pay for that. They did an excellent job weeding and working on the lawn to improve the curb appeal. (I'm trying to sell my house & curb appeal was an area the realtors were concerned about). Trimmed all shrubs & trees, put mulch around them also. Added extra mulch to my the flower bed. At this point, my son and I discussed the need to remove the current walkway and replace it with an actual sidewalk. I hired these two gentlemen to do this job for me as well. They gave me an excellent price to do the job and I now have a new sidewalk that really improves the look of my house. Not only WILL I hire HGM Services again once I move, I've already hired them to help me with other projects on this house that needs work. For anyone who needs a real couple of handymen, Travis and Buddy are the perfect fit for any situation you need. Especially someone like me, a widow with a limited income. Good grief, they will even paint interior or exterior! Wish I'd have found these two GENTLEMEN 6 months ago. It would have saved me a lot of grief and money!!!!
