The finished product seems to be in great working order, the two guys were very nice and professional in their demeanor, but they left the house at least three times (and even had to reschedule for another day) because they didn’t have the correct parts. My husband and I ended up paying around $1,000.

Another company came and said the pump would have to be replaced at the cost of $3,500-$5,500 dollars. This company took the pump apart and cleaned it and t worked fine! Saved $5,000.

Our basement was recently flooded by a water main break. EJ Thompson and Son provided us with amazing service. They were able to get our AC running; my dog is 13 years old and she is much more comfortable now. I am immensely grateful for their assistance on a 90 degree day. They will be performing our furnace replacement based upon the level of professionalism and service provided today.

The technician called when he was on the way and arrived precisely on time. I showed him the things that needed to be done, and he immediately started on them. One task was harder than I anticipated (glad I didn't attempt it on my own); but he worked steadily, had everything he needed on hand, did everything I asked, and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. They promptly sent me a bill, and I thought the cost was reasonable.

The unit looks great. After having the ducts cleaned, our house seems to smell much fresher and there is way less dust flying about. We have had no issues with any of the work done. They started a week after we were given an estimate and the work took about 5-6 days overall. This was mostly due to some rainy weather and the availability of the workers. They were polite and flexible in scheduling.

I called because my furnace wasn't heating the house. They came a day or so later. After I called I noticed water on the floor of the laundry room where the furnace, washer, and hot water heater are located. When the repairman came, he replaced a furnace part which fixed the heating problem. He said the water problem was not related to the furnace. This repairman only dealt with HVAC problems so the company would need to send a plumber to address the water issue. A few days later two plumbers came and identified the washer's water hoses as the source of the water leak. They also examined the hot water tank because it had a tiny leak . They showed me where it was rusting and advised me to replace it. Since the tank was at least 18 years old, I decided to replace it. Overall I was satisfied with the service and the charges for the repairs. .

They were prompt and hard working and willing to accommodate my wishes. The drain lines are in a very tight filthy crawlspace that's hard to get into and harder to get out of, but they never complained (they groaned a few times getting out, but if you saw the place, you'd understand). I had them replace my furnace and air conditioner earlier and had them back for the plumbing project because of how satisfied I was with that project. David, the head technician, is excellent to work with. He's hard working, knowledgeable, and experienced and more than willing to satisfy the homeowner.

It couldn't have gone better. They were prompt and hard working. They answered all my questions and listened to me and were more than willing to make the changes I requested. David, the head technician, seemed to be very knowledgeable and experienced and was an excellent problem solver. I spent a little more than $12,000 for the project, but don't let that scare you off because I got a top of the line system. You can get a perfectly capable system for much less. The prices for their systems were very reasonable compared with other providers. I was so pleased with their work that I had them come back to do a complicated and difficult plumbing project. David was once again the head technician and he was just as superb.

They promptly answered my call, called back when through at another customer site, came as soon as possible. The technician was professional and quickly identified the problem, replaced a part, fixed the unit, and wished us a great weekend. He made what might have been a very hot weekend wonderful ( we had just returned from being out of town). We have not yet received the bill but have used them in the past and has always been good value

The faulty water heater was still under warranty. It was a Rheem with a six year warranty. After I found my paper work I saw that it was 5 years 11 months and two weeks since I purchased it from Home Depot (I'm a lucky boy). Because it was under warranty I was required to bring the old water heater to Home Depot for an exchange and after six days of cold showers Rheem finally gave me the go ahead to return the broke a** heater.. Anyway, the only thing that really went smoothly was my dealings with Thompson E J & Son LLC Plumbing Heating & AC. The first plumbing outfit I called quoted me a price of $800-900. The second, Thompson E J & Son LLC Plumbing Heating & AC, quoted me a price of about $300 and they could do it the next day. I recommend Thompson E J & Son LLC Plumbing Heating & AC highly to anyone in the greater Charleston area.

After calling 5 companies and not one getting back to me, I called EJ Thompson. We had no air cooling and several 90 degree days. I left a message on the voice mail and received a phone call before 9am. The rep. came within 5 minutes of the call and did the work quickly and efficiently. I am also impressed that the company bills for their service rather than having the rep do the paperwork. I will call them again.
