As they worked and found little things that could also be done, they just took care of them, after checking with me, and did not charge anymore.

Very prompt and efficient. Work was done ahead of schedule. They removed all old gutters.

They were good. They did the installation in two days. Two people came out for the service and their manager came out the first and last day. This was our first time using them.

Replaced front and back porch flat roof. Replaced scuttle hole from one rubber roof to a lower roof. Within three months, I now have three leaks from my roof from the he work performed. I also have a damaged ceiling from the leaks. I contacted Mr. Korsen numerous times. I was told that he was sorry and that he would come to see what the problem was three separate times. Each time, he was a no show. I had to contact him to see if he was coming each time hours after I expected him to come. After the third attempt and his apology for not coming he has not returned my attempt to contact him. He has made no attempt to even look at his shoddy work.

For the estimate, they were quick to respond to our inquiry, schedule a time to do the estimate and then to submit an estimate in writing.

The turnaround time from quote request to quote was very quick and the price was reasonable. The workers that came to do the job were very professional and it was evident that they were good at what they do. I did have a little trouble getting the actual work scheduled. I had to call several times to get a date, and the answer was always we will try to get to it by next weekend. I really wish they could have given me a date and approximate time so that I could have made better arrangements. Other than that, this provider is a class act.

MDI did a fabulous job replacing my roof and gutters. They were prompt in returning phone calls and scheduling the job. They showed up on time, every time, and didn't leave me waiting. The job was done well and on budget. The crew that worked on my roof knew what they were doing. They cleaned very well after the job was done. I have had so many compliments on my new roof. I will recommend MDI to others and will use again for future projects.

MDI performed the services as detailed in their contract, outstanding five (5) year labor warranty plus kept us advised of future areas that may need our attention for planning purposes. ,

Contacted provider about an estimate of his services. We agreed upon a time and date for an estimate. He arrived when he said he would; I cannot say the same about a different contracting company I had previously contacted. Initially, was inquiring about replacement of roof on sunroom roof. After further discussion, decided to replace the roof on the entire house. I was on the roof with Mr. Korsen and he explained the rationale behind the replacement of the roof. He made very good points and at no time did I feel like he was pressing me to make unnecessary expenditures. After a few days, he returned with a contract explaining all the work to be performed. All of the expenses were clearly itemized. I would note that his quote was roughly $5,000 less than what I received from two contractors, one of which was of the "as-seen-on-television" kind. The materials were left on the property approximately one week before the work actually began the day after Thanksgiving. The work was finished in a little over two weeks, due some inclement weather and running short on a few items. The roof looks excellent. A minor complaint would be that I am occasionally still finding small bits of flashing and other odd ends in the yard and around the property. Some of the days the weather was quite uncooperative and I can understand that things can be carried off by wind or other things unnoticed by the workmen; I'm sure other people would be more decided in their complaint of this. I am quite happy with the experience and with the quality of the work performed. Most likely I will be contacting this company for more work in the future.

The experience was really good. I called them, they told me when they would be there. They were there for two days, It was quick and easy, they did a great job, they cleaned up. Who could ask for more? The roof looked really good. They did a very professional job.

I CONTACTED PAUL BURKE OF MDI FOR AN ESTIMATE. HE SAID HE COULD BE AT MY HOUSE BY 11 OR 11:30. I REPLIED THAT 11:30 WOULD BE BETTER FOR ME SINCE I HAD SOMETHING TO DO..............AT 11:30 ON THE DOT HE ARRIVED . THIS WAS A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION. THE PREVIOUS DAY I CALLED A MAN ABOUT AN ESTIMATE WHO SAID HE WOULD CALL AND COME BY THE NEXT DAY..........I SAT AROUND THE HOUSE ALL DAY UNTIL 4PM WAITING FOR HIM.....NO CALL, NOTHING. SO, NO WAY I WOULD DEAL WITH THIS MAN. MDI WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE ON PUNCTUALITY. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN 2 DAYS WITH SOME TRIM ON THE THIRD DAY. MDI SHOWED UP ON TIME EACH MORNING @ 8AM WITH 2 MEN WHO LIVED NEARBY COMING @ 7AM.............MY IMPRESSION IS THAT THE WORK CREW PERFORMED THEIR JOBS VERY WELL. SO MDI RECEIVES MY GRADE A RATING. AFTER ALL, I WANTED A GOOD JOB DONE WITH QUALITY MATERIALS INSTALLED. I WANTED THE JOB COMPLETED ASAP WITH AS LITTLE AGGRAVATION AS POSSIBLE. I DID NOT WANT ANY INTERRUPTIONS OR SURPRISES. MDI MET ALL THIS CRITERIA. THE RESULT IS THAT I NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ROOF.

I got estimates on a new roof back in November 2012. The prices ranged from $8,000 to $12,000, Sears being the highest as usual. The price was high due to the slope of the roof and the height, an old three-story brick home. I had called MDI and told them to drive by for an estimate and get back with me (instead of meeting me). Don't remember hearing from them; maybe after I had decided to wait so I didn't follow through. The week of February 11, 2013, MDI Remodeling called to see if I had ever done the project and if I were going to before spring. I told them no. They indicated since the season was slow, they were offering discounts. So I said let me know the price. They offered a price that was $2,000 less than the lowest of my previous estimates (four) and comparable to a price that I got several years ago, so I said yes! Plus I had found them on Angie's List in the beginning. They started on Thursday and had it finished a week later on Friday. They had to work around rain and snow. There were 3-1/2 days that they could not work and had to wait some mornings until the frost melted. They left supplies in yard during the week and cleaned up every day. The house looks like a new house. The shingles match the brick perfectly. Near end of job, they quoted me $500 more to put on new brown flashings to match the roof because the flashing was worn and silver. I rated B on responsiveness as they did not get back with me on the estimate in the beinning right away; but I could have called them back myself. The attic is a finished room with plaster. I should have asked them about this first, but it happened so fast. I had asked a former roofer would it hurt the plaster and he said no. The attic now has several cracks in the plaster from the banging. I don't use the room, but it would need repaired if I wanted to sell the home or sell as is. The owner, Steve Korsen, is pleasant to work with. I had shingled another house, mid-entry, several years ago and they were done by noon. After seeing what the roofers had to go through on this house and the time to do the job, I can understand why the price is so high. I love the looks of the new roof.

I can't get them to come back and finish. I asked for a metal cap on my chimney but I can't get anybody to come back and install it; I don't even know if they have made it. They seemed to know what they were doing and their pricing seemed to be in line with other quotes I had. I have not paid for the chimney cap yet, but I have called them twice to see if someone will come out and put it on. I told them I would pay them if they would just bring it out and install it for me. Other than that I did not have any problems with their work; they stayed on the job and finished the other work when they said they would.

The gutters were replaced as part of a job to put vinyl siding on the whole house and to do some other exterior work during the summer of 2010. They were prompt, courteous, and very professional. I was impressed. I have not had any problems with the gutters or the siding since. However, about three weeks ago, I called them again to get an estimate on some other possible exterior work. They came out to take a look at what I wanted done and said they would send an estimate over the weekend. One week later, still no estimate so I followed up with an email. In response I received a response that said the estimate would be here in a day or so. After another week and another follow up, I have given up.

They did an excellent job and provided me with a 30 year warranty. I would highly recommend them to others. Robbie, the supervisor, was a fantastic guy.

After I met with them, and they gave me an estimate they came back. I chose to use them. They ran into a little problem and needed more supplies. They let me know in advance what they needed to do and how much that the price would go up. They were very professional and efficient. I was very pleased with them. I liked everything that they did. Their price was average. I recommended them to my cousin.
