It went great. They did a great job.

Not good. I needed a shorter tank because of the vent going downhill. They stayed the measurements for a gas tank but still wasn't short enough so I had to install an electric tank which I did not want to do. Then went online to Lowe's found the same exact water tank in gas, that would have been short enough.

Terrible. Waited almost 2 weeks for them to respond after multiple calls. They knew what needed done and said it was a two man job. My husband took the day off work for them to come and they sent one guy. The guy said it was too much work for one person and we'd have to reschedule when they had an extra hand!! Not professional at all!! Would not recommend!!

The workers were professional, polite and on time.

I would never have believed I would be sitting down to write a review like this for Kanawha Valley Maintenance. We have used them numerous times over the years for all our heating, cooling and plumbing needs. (We have had a plumber of theirs to our house on at least 3 occasions for the same leak even.) So when I awoke Friday morning, February 26th, to find our heat out, it was they I called to try to get help. On such short notice I really did not count on their being able to do it. And I would have completely understood if they had not had time to take the job. We are not their only customer. We are not even a blip on their radar. So I was pleasantly surprised when they said they could do it. I was then not at all surprised to find the heat working when I got home Friday. Another good review on Angie's list. Or so I thought. The problem started Tuesday evening, March 8th, when we noticed the heat was again out. No problem. These things happen. I understand and was happy to give them an opportunity to take care of it. My wife called them Wednesday morning as she was the one who would have to leave work early to meet them. She was told we we out of luck that day. I was disappointed with this. As I said, had they not had time to take the job to begin with, I would have totally understood. But when a repair they made lasts only 4 days, I would think a company would go a little above and beyond to try to see what happened. But, as they said they would come the next day, it was not that big a deal. Thursday my wife leaves work early and waits. And they did indeed send someone but "the truck was too big to make it up the driveway". I wanted to ask why he couldn't just park the truck at the bottom of the driveway and walk up, but didn't. I was told by the lady in the office that next day, Friday, he or someone would be back in a smaller truck. So again my wife leaves early and waits. I get home and wait. Nothing. Not even the courtesy to call and tell us they would not make it!! My wife and I sitting in our house like fools waiting for a technician that never showed. I cannot convey how disappointed I am with Kanawha Valley Maintenance for treating a customer this way. I was not asking them to come back for free. And again I cannot stress enough had they not had time for us to begin with I would have been fine with that. And I realize as well they were booked the days in question. But I cannot believe a company would not go the extra mile to fix an issue they already started. And it's not like it would have required some herculean effort. Would it have killed someone to work over 1 hour 1 day for this? We ended up having to call a company with emergency hours to fix this Sunday and he was not there an hour even. I am just so disappointed. Shame on Kanawha Valley Maintenance. Shame on the owner for allowing this to happen. (Please note I was unable to fill in the cost of service as I have not received the bill yet.)

Called KVM repeatedly & took three weeks to get a hold of the owner who then said he took no responsibility for the damage done by his worker. I would never - never call these clowns to do ANYTHING to my house ever again!

The company was courteous, provided a quote, and estimated time when they would arrive and an advance call when workers were on their way.

They are very good, very quick, and always charge a reasonable price. I call them for any problem I have.

It went great and I would recommend them.

I called them wanting a way to keep water from draining from my hot water tank when there was a waterline break on the main line connecting to my house. They came out promptly and gave me an estimate. I called them and scheduled a date and time. The plumber was there promptly on the date and did the work. Very neat . Completely satisfied.

It went really well. Gary even called before he came, we found out one faucet was still under factory warranty, so he rec we tell inform Delta, abd got new one before he came to install a new one, saving us money.

Kanawha Valley Maintenance has been prompt about returning phone calls for service and punctual about their appointments. Their people have been professional and considerate about working in a house with elderly residents. I trust them to give us good advice, and they have done an excellent job of keeping a house built in 1953 up and running.

I think the labor is a little pricey but overall a great job AND they cleaned up the area before they left. The only clue to their presence is the blue faucet rather than the previous red one.

They were punctual, courteous, took time to explain how the generator would work. Were exceptionally clean - could not tell they were ever there. Told us we could call at any time with questions. Very thorough with every step.

Everythnig went well, they were on time and worked quickly and were reasonably priced.

The plumber used an electric snake to unstop the drain. The company was prompt and very professional. The plumber was efficient and went right to work to solve our problem.

KVM is so professional - from the schedulers to maintenance to billing, the customer is treated like a customer, not an inconvenience. We've used in the past and will use when needed. Word-of-mouth was our referral to KVM - passing along the good word.

I called first thing in the morning and had someone at my house by early afternoon (as office estimated)...Gary was pleasant and worked quickly and neatly...he cleaned up after himself and was prompt when returning with a part he needed for my tub....we discussed a future project that I have and he took the time to look it over and let me know that it could be done......I realize that I had simple repairs but I appreciated the fact that they were done the same day I called and I did not feel overcharged.

The girl who answered phone was always knowledgeable and helpful. Plumber picked up water heater at store for me and he did not waste time.

The job only took less than two hours, and everyone was happy with the results.

.I contacted Kanawha Valley Maintainance and got a call back the same afternoon. And an appointment for an estimate was scheduled for the next morning. The estimate was completed as scheduled and men arrived the next morning to complete the job. The job was completed under the estimated price and in less time than expected. The work pwassed inspection by the gas company the same day and the meter was reinstalled and the gas turned back on by the gas company the same evening.

As I reported above, it went very well. Always has with Kanawha Valley Maint.

They are excellent. They come as soon as they can. I have never had any problems. I have always been very satisfied with them. They are very professional. I have been using them for ten years.

One of my hot water heaters started spewing water from near the top at about 11 a.m. I shut off the water and called Kanawha Valley Maintenance. Rusty appeared within twenty minutes and turned off the electricity to keep the circulating pump from burning out, something I hadn't even thought about. As the other heater was the same age as the blown one, he suggested I get two new ones. By 2 p.m., I had new hot water tanks, and my water service had been restored. The bill arrived yesterday, and it was much less than I expected to pay.
