All went well except the terminal post for the gate was loose. Mark said to call next day if it didn't set up and they would be back. I called Saturday and left a message on answering machine. No response so I called again on Monday or Tuesday and got answering machine again. Left another message. No response. Mark did adjust the my old gate so that it works better. Would I use them again? Probably. Their price was about half of another vendor that gave me a quote. Tomblin didn't replace all rails and posts ( at my request). the other vendor would have replaced everything. ( their policy).

I requested an estimate and scheduled a time to meet with representative. After taking off work and waiting 20 minutes past our appointment time I called and she had "forgotten." About 20 minutes later she arrived. What I requested was approx. 8 feet of chain link on one side of the house and 8 feet on the other with a gate. She emailed an estimate of $950.00 after telling me gates were on special for $50.00. When I requested a breakdown of labor materials I did not receive response. She had noted she was new and part of the ‘family’ business. Beyond disappointed.

We obtained an estimate and paid 1/2 up front. I would say it took a couple of weeks to complete the job. Some days they came, some days they didn't. They did get the fence to fit closely to the ground on sloping ground but the vinyl pieces had to be put at an angle to make that happen. We weren't unhappy with that though as long as it came to the ground. Initially we were pleased. We were told there was a lifetime guarantee on the product and he specifically said that it would hold up to any wind around here (Charleston, WV). Within 2-3 weeks we had a spring storm which promptly blew down a section of the fence. When we called about having it fixed, we were told that product would be supplied but the cost of labor would be $50/hour which we argued and then declined. They sent a bill for $100 for coming to my house to look at their fence and tell me that. Later, the back fence post fell forward and had to be repaired and actually cemented like they said they did the 1st time. The fence is very crooked and the 3 gates need constant adjusting. We went with a small hometown company rather than a big box store in hopes that the service and workmanship would be superior. It absolutely was not and I believe had we had this installed by a big box store, we would have had a place to take our complaints and would have received better service. I would run, not walk, away from this company.

They were terrible, terrible, terrible. The salesman took about 20 or 30 mintues on the estimate and I was very specific why I was buildling the fence; to keep animals on the outside out and animals on the inside in. He knew EXACTLY why I was paying to have it done (my yard was fenced in by a fence already , but my puppy could jump it). He told me it would be done in 2 or 3 days. I had to push them to get started a week after I green lighted it. They took away my existing fence and set the posts. FIVE days later (leaving me with a completely open yard knowing that I had animal issues), I finally got them to come back and seal it off (with chain link sections, mind you....not actual fence construction). A few days later they started the actual fence. After they had finished about 5% of it and left it, I got in touch with the salesman and told him that what was being done was not what I wanted. I was very specific about my concerns. It was an unorthodox method that wasn't going to suit my needs (a fence all the way to the ground that sealed the yard...instead there was one place that was NINE inches from the ground). He assured me the finished product would provide me what I told him I wanted in the first place. Well, instead of a fence that went to the ground, they built it they way most convenient for them and tried to use dirt to build the ground up to the fence (which would obivously (and has) settled with each rain), creating a situation that I'm going to have to continually buy topsoil, lay it and tamp it myself all summer who knows how many times. They took dirt off my hillside, without my permission; which, had they asked for it, woudl have been told that there were roses there cut short for the winter. They didn't and ruined the roses that were a gift from my dying and last grandparent, my mamaw. Then, the foreman tried to hurry me off a conference call to approve the job and sign off on it in the dark. It left my yard a huge mudpit. It was an awful experience and doing it myself was easier than suing them over it. They obviously didn't listen to me before. They didn't listen to me WHEN I TOLD THEM WHAT THEY WERE DOING WAS NOT WHAT I WANTED AND NOT WHAT I TOLD THEM I WANTED WHEN I ENTERED THE CONTRACT. To make a long story short, not only would I refrain from recommending them, I would actively discourage anybody from using them. It has been weeks and every time I look at it, every time it rains and settles and every time I tamp their d******* idea, I get so mad I can't stand it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WILL TELL YOU WHATEVER YOU NEED TO HEAR TO GET OFF THE JOBSITE WITH YOUR MONEY.

Responded to my message left on voicemail promptly. Kept estimate appointment and estimate and actual cost were same. Competent workmen and they cleaned up after themselves. It was a very good experience. I would use them again in future..
