We hired Ed to replace a damaged section of drywall ceiling in one of the bedrooms in our house. He came out quickly to give an estimate, started and finished the work when he said he would, and was very pleasant to deal with. We were very happy with the results, and he stayed at the low end of his original estimate. He even painted the finished job, which hadn't been part of our arrangement -- it was a big help to us. We'll definitely hire him again.

They arrived on time, brought everything needed, made the removal and replacement in short order and with good craftsmanship.

Ed and his crew in WV are amazing!! They came every morning and were here by 730 or 8am, and stayed until 430 or 5 every day; they even worked some days in the rain. These guys are craftsmen and do quality work; they are perfectionists. The work space was clean every evening, and they did not disrupt our lives at all. They are a pleasure to work with and I hope to use them again in the future!

They were prompt, courteous, clean, and did exactly what they said they would do. The price was reasonable & I was very satisfied with the work done.

Did a very good job, neat, and clean when completed. On day one they removed all three of the French doors and completed installation of the new French doors. On day two they removed the old entry way door and installed the new door. Some custom trim work was required to complete the job. They measured and returned within two days with the custom trim and installed . It looks great.

I had to wait longer than they said or what I had anticipated. They ended up working on three rainy days when they couldn't work on the other job they had. I didn't realize that I would have to wait when I originally talked to them. But, so far, I have no problem with the work they did. It was just getting them started was somewhat difficult. I gave them C's because I don't feel that enough time has lapsed to judge the quality of the work.

The project went very well and was completed timely; even my neighbors liked the completed project. They are very busy but once they start the job, the workers really work.

i am a high end residential painting contractor that hired historic restorations to remodel a friends bathroom in cross lanes WV.ed miller is a retired fireman and his crew consists of active fireman. they were very professional, punctual, polite and got the job done one day after they said they would. my friend and his wife are deaf and have a hard time hiring people due to the language barrier. ed miller did a great job, my friend and i were very pleased with him and his crew.

I was very pleased with the results of the installation. They paid attention to the small details and the final result was wonderful.

The guys at Historic Restoration did a fantastic job. They were right on time everyday of the job. They also completed the job on the day as promised. They were also very helpful and patient with me picking out a paint color. I was also very surprised how CLEAN they were. Everyday they wiped down the entire work area and mopped my wooden floors, leaving virtually no dust (which is inevitable for plaster/drywall work). I barely knew they were there during the job. The paint job was perfect--straight lines and no spills! I would highly recommend this company for any kind of home repair.
