 + -1 moreWhile I think Lowe's does an excellent job, there is something special about the feel and smell of an old-time family owned (I assume) hardware store and this is one. Friendly, knowledgeable people waiting to help you, looking to help you. And I think their prices are surprisingly competitive. When I was hunting for a lawn mower, they had just what I needed and I paid less for that model than I would have paid for the alternatives offered by the big chains. Really a terrific place!
Description of Work: I just made a small purchase today (sandpaper by the piece, not by the package!) but have made several over the past few years.
