Took less than an hour and was professionally done. This guy knows his stuff when comes to roofing. He said it takes him a little longer, but he does it right the first time. I haven't had one drop of water in my attic since.

I called on Wednesday, left message concerning repair for recent storm damage. Call returned promptly, said he would call back with estimate for roof repair. Never called back. I left a message on the next Monday, call was never returned.

He responded to our call quickly and helped us out the next day since our roof was leaking badly.

They were a couple of shingles that came off and I called them. They came over and fixed it. He went on top of my roof and told me how much time it had. I was getting ready to get a new roof and he went up and told me that I didn’t need one. I thought the price was reasonable. He came out and told me the price would be anywhere between 150 and 300 because he didn’t know what he would run into. He fixed something that was around the chimney that needed to be fixed. He told me the gutters were in good shape. I asked him to look at the whole roof that I couldn’t see and he did. I don’t think his price was bad at all. He seemed to know a lot about what he was doing and he said he wanted his work to be perfect. I can’t tell more because I can’t climb on the roof. I looked on Angie’s List to get to him. I called him on the phone and he was in another state. He asked me to call his office the next day and leave my name and number and he would get back to me. He got back to me at 10 o’clock the next day. It was real windy that day and he said it was quite risky to get up on a steep roof. A couple of days later when the weather got better he called me again and asked if he could come out if that was okay with me and he did. He is a little country seller. He gave me a season’s card when he left. Most roofers are not that friendly but he was very nice.

Excellent experience. From initial call, response time was less than 2 hours. Mike was very professional and obviously an expert of his trade. He was honest, fixed the leak on the spot and was very reasonable in his cost. So much so that he was only going to charge me $50.00. You can't get a service call now days for less than $80.00, so I gave him $100.00 for his service call, material, labor and advice of how to care for my roof properly. Highly recommend.

Very well. Blackhawk was recommended by a knowledgeable friend who had hired them in the past. Mike and Angel responded quickly to our phone call and came over to look at the roof. They looked it over, gave us an estimate and agreed to do the job. It was not time sensitive for us and they told us they had a few jobs to finish first so we agreed they would start in a few weeks. There were some delays due to weather, but they called and apologized and set up the job as soon as they were able to. The installation took about 2.5 days and the work was done well and with respect for us, the house, and the yard. We probably could have found someone cheaper, but I suspect it would have cost us much more in the end. They stand by their work and provided us with a 10 year warranty on materials and labor. Great work, great people.

He was really good. We had a major leak on the roof and we thought we would have to have it replaced. They were honest enough to come out and exam our whole roof. A lot of people might have said we need a new roof but they said ours would hold up another 3 years. He said part of it hadn't been put on properly. I had a major leak on the other part of the house and they fixed it. Part of it was an addition and he said he didn't see any place where he needed to replace it. I heard him up there hammering. He called me a few days later to make sure everything was holding up and he said if I had any issues to call him. I told him in about 3 years when we need a new roof he'd be the one I call. They were prompt, very nice gentleman, they came in and did their job. They didn't mess around. My guess is they were here about 4 hours.

Called 6/9/2011, called back 6/11/2011, Saturday an appointment. Did not show up. Gave my number to a guy name of "Fred". Fred, was unprofessional. He told me, I would want to leave my home on the day of work, because there would be a lot of cussing. Tred, did not work for Black Hawk.

Company was prompt and reliable - showed up when promised and worked until job was completed

Called him on Monday and he said he would contact me back later on that day. He did not. I contacted him then today and left a message. I have not heard anything back since.

Not a good service. One company out of business at the phone number listed. Another does not provide the service requested and listed by Angie's List.

Arrived at scheduled time, had the materials on hand and fixed the problem right then. Leak has stopped and my roof is good to go for a few more years. I felt like he was an honest person.

I was pleased with what he said he could do. He said we wouldn’t have to pay a cent until we were happy. I was impressed. He seems to know what the business is about.

Mike and Angel are great. They came, looked at the house, talked to us for a while, and gave us an estimate. They had been recommended by a friend who had used them and said while they are not the cheapest, they are very reliable and do good work. Once we agreed on a day to start (and the weather cooperated), they had the whole project done in a few days and did a great job leaving the place better than when they started. They stand behind the work for 10 years and said their warranty on workmanship goes with the house. We might have saved a bit using someone else, but we have been very satisfied with the work.

Looks a little rough and likes paid in cash for small jobs. But patched a leak and when patch did not completely work came righ tback and got it right. A year later I had him put a new roof on the garage and he was prompt, reasonably priced and did a good job.
