Acu-Trim Expert Tree Service

We have used this company several times within the past year and have always been very pleased with their work! For the first job we had them top several large trees, remove several smaller trees and grind two large stumps. For this last job, we had a very large dying tree that was threatening to fall and hit our back deck and septic system. I called the owner and left a voice message and within an hour he had returned my phone call and scheduled an appointment to come out to our house that day to give us an estimate. He was able to come out the very next day to remove the tree which was wonderful since we were worried the tree might fall at any time. It was a complicated job due to the size, location and condition of the tree but they were able to complete the job with no issues. They ended up having to remove another smaller tree (which had to come out due to the location of the larger tree) and they did not charge us extra for that. They are extremely neat with both their work and the clean up and very professional. They are very trustworthy and dependable which is hard to find these days! We have dealt with several contractors in the past who have been extremely unreliable and unprofessional so it?s very refreshing to do business with a company like this one that really takes pride in their work! We have recommended them to several of our friends and neighbors and will definitely be using them again in the future if needed! Also, the owner is extremely nice and was a pleasure to do business with!

First of all, I was impressed by the Acu-trim website: The WV License number is there; it is a user-friendly, transparent website unlike others that reveal little. I sent an email and they responded within a day or so; made an appointment for a free estimate and they actually showed up and were punctual! Mr. V. Phillips was respectful, shook my hand and made eye-contact with me; he took ownership of the problem I had and offered a viable and reasonably priced solution.. I find these courtesies a rarity now-a-days. The price was fair and the promise to do the work the following week was actually kept in a timely and responsible manner, The work was performed flawlessly, meticulously, and has taken a burden off my shoulders. I can't say enough to express how pleased I am with the service provided by Acu-Trim. I called 3 providers from Angie's List and they were the only folks that understood what good customer service is. They handled the call professionally, gave us a decent estimate & scheduled a visit to take care of our needs promptly. The following week the team showed up as expected and got right to work. The team worked like a well oiled machine, they had enough people, good equipment and wasted no time. They took great care as they removed our difficult tree which overhung our neighbors fence. Within a couple hours everything was completed,right down to raking random chips from my neighbor's yard. Fantastic Work!!! As far as the other 2 providers I called, we never heard from one at all, and the other made us wait a week for a call to schedule and estimate, and said that we would need to wait 3 months before they could get to us if we wanted them to do the work. So Bravo Acu-Trim you should be at the top of the list for area tree service providers! Thanks!

He showed up on time. Gave me his estimate. Returned to do the work when he said he would and did a terrific job.

Employee climbed in trees to cut them by sections in order to avoid the interferences. We added 2 trees to the scope on the day of the work, and these were accomodated. Stumps cut off at near the ground. We provided clean-up. Had all the right equipment for the job, with saws sharp. Professonal work, with safety emphasis, which is important in this line of work!

The crew arrived when scheduled and worked quickly and safely to complete the job in about three hours. I asked them to leave a low stump which we will use as a flower stand, and they leveled it nicely. Clean-up was excellent. They even removed a few old limbs that had fallen from a neighbor's maple tree. The entire crew was friendly, courteous, and professional. I would certainly use Acu-Trim's services again and would confidently recommend the company to others.

Experience from the first call through to cleanup was A#1. Had many trees on a hillside removed & one tree in the side yard & stump removal. Crew was professional, friendly & efficient. Couldn't be better! Will definitely call again & recommend to others.

Mr. Phillips has trimmed/cut down trees for me for approximately 20+ years. He's very dependable, accommodating, and always gives you the best price possible. I have always been very happy with his work, and that of his employees, and will use Acu Trim next year for my tree trimming. Also, they always do a wonderful job of cleaning up after they have finished.

After more than 4 weeks of waiting and they didnt show I called them and told them that i no longer wanted there services.

They called night before to confirm time, showed up right on time. Cut down 2 trees and hauled away everything. Very nice to deal with.

Came on 10/12/12, told me he'd be able to remove stump in next week or two. Came home about a week later to find stump gone and a note left on my door letting me know he'd been and removed the stump. I called him and made arrangements for him to come by to get payment next time he came my way. Only cost $100.00. Granted it was a small stump, but others I called gave me estimates in the several hundreds. Very professional and courteous. Was very knowledgeable about different types of trees I have on my property. I have three large (over 40 feet tall) Leyland cypresses in my front yard I may have him come back to top or remove. Don't know yet if I'll do either one, but if I do, I'll definitely have Acu-Trim come to do it.

I got Acu Trim name off Anglies list. Called. left word we wanted an estimate. Several days later a representative called and came up that day and gave us an estimate. We considered the estmate and called back to schedule the service. They called in a few days and scheduled the work the next day. The workman arrived on time, got right to work. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after they finished.

Mr. Phillips (owner) came out to assess the storm damage and give an estimate. He is very personable and definitely knows his work, of which he was more than willing to discuss along with his experience. His crew came, along with his daughter to supervise, and they cut down one tree, removed broken and hanging limbs from another and also cut out dead limbs from another. All the people worked well together and managed to remove everything without damaging an outbuilding that was directly under the trees. They skillfully handled the chainsaw and ropes. After chipping the limbs they used a blower and swept up

He was out working at seven in the morning for me. He is a guy who grew up in the country and knows everything I want to know about trees. I could listen to him talk all the day about when and how to trim trees. He is an excellent and wonderful guy who knows his business. I would use him again in the future.

They trimmed the tree and got it down to where it wouldn't hurt anything if it fell. He is a "good ole boy" type person. He is good at what he does. He cleans up well. He also went and bought a piece of my fence that was broken and fix it. He took out a tree in my backyard, cleaned that up, and cleaned up all of the brush as well. He was a little slow coming back to make the repairs, but he did get it done. I would use him again in the future.
