They provided quick service to diagnose my issue (unit not cooling). They added R-410A plus a dye to identify the point of leakage which turned out to be an evaporator coil. I thought the techs were competent and don't have an issue with the work however I'm really unhappy with the price increase in the R-410A between the 1st & 2nd services. The price was $45/lb the 1st time and it increased to $65/lb the 2nd time - a 44.4% increase. R-410A sells for around $6/lb on Amazon. The $45/lb is not out of line with what HVAC companies charge but the $65/lb is. I called several times and they promised to have the owner call me back to discuss - however that call never happened. My low rating is due to the price increase and the non response of the owner.

Service was excellent! Our air conditioner stopped working in August and my wife was 37 weeks pregnant. I contacted Small Solutions LLC and spoke to Dillon (the owner). He came out himself the very next morning bright and early to make sure that our air conditioner got fixed. We were thrilled!! Dillon knew exactly what he was doing and had the issue fixed in 10 mins.

The technician was great and had us up and running the first day and came back after getting parts the next day.

We cannot rave enough about the service we received from Small Solutions. We had gotten 5 independent bids of which one was an overwhelmingly ridiculous $27k, thankfully, and by a LANDSLIDE, Small Solutions beat that price. When Dylan came out to do the estimate, he took his time, answered any and all questions, and carefully took measurements to ensure accurate results. (We were impressed with this because 2 of the other estimates we received never bothered to actually observe the heat pump in the attic and one didn't even leave the driveway...gave the estimate from his truck seat) When we decided to definitely go with Small Solutions, they scheduled us for two days later, and arrived to get started early. The crew was extremely courteous and respectful. When they first arrived, my son was still asleep, but they took excessive care to not wake him, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. They appeared to work well together as a team, even though they each had their own part of the job to do. They worked efficiently and professionally and my family never felt uncomfortable with them in our home. And, as any pet owner can understand my appreciation of this: they were nice to my dogs too. Small Solutions was recommended to us by a friend of our family, and now the Small Solutions crew will be recommended by us to other friends.

Small Solutions provided a timely service to refill my freon. However, I had to call every day for nearly two weeks for Mr Dylan Small, owner, to respond to my request to replace the indoor coil. I finally told the receptionist that I would move on to another company but that I needed the installation paperwork and warranty info to pursue another contractor. I then said that I would rate their company appropriately on Angie's List and Home Advisor. After passing that along, I finally received a call from Mr. Small saying he was sorry but had pressing family responsibilities and that I would need to find another HVAC contractor. He did fedex the paperwork to me and agree that he would wave the $250 charge to recharge the freon. Mr Small also said he would send a list of Rheem Contractors for follow-up. However he never sent the less.

They were on time and did a good job of explaining how the air conditioning works. I did not have any issues with them.

We called and scheduled an appointment for the following week for an estimate for an HVAC installation into our newly purchased home. Nobody showed for the appointment. We called and left 2 messages on the main number and 2 messages on the emergency number however still 4 days later have not gotten any response. Very poor customer service. We will not call them again. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Work plan was reviewed with me by installers and the installation was completed in 2 half days. The workmen were courteous and open to questions. The job was done in the most professional manner. Office staff later checked to be certain that I was completely satisfied and a system check was done the following season.

The rep arrived 30 minutes late for the appointment. Once here, he quickly checked both upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems and determined the refrigerant level to be low, adding 2 lbs to the existing level. The rep stated that he was only supposed to check one system and provided the check of the other for free. The price for the refrigerant seems to be the going rate in the area (about $110/lb). The estimate to trace for a refrigerant leak was $800 (understand it could take a few hours to find the leak). Overall it was a good visit, I just didn't feel like it was a super value for what we spent.

I found Lou Who through Angie's list several years ago and got my present air conditioner. The first air conditioner I got ended up being a manufacturer "lemon." However Lou Who stayed with me and got the machine replaced without cost (except the freon). I have continued to use them since for service since and have gotten good results. They have been professional and their techs have gone out of the way to explain options to me.

I called on Wednesday morning and they were able to send someone Thursday morning first thing (no one was going to be home Wednesday afternoon). The service man was prompt, even a little early, and got right down to business. The entire service took about 20-25 minutes. I wasn't sure what to expect for the cost so it seemed a bit high to me but I had seen good reviews for this company and needed something done right away.

I use Lou Who every year for annual maintenance on my HVAC system. The spring HVAC check at $79.95 is a good deal compared to some of the other companies out there. This year my system needed a pound of freon added to it which was rather expensive ($150 for a pound of freon and $90 for the labor). The technicians have always been more casual than other service providers, and more than once I've head them on the phone with their office discussing company politics or issues. Overall I'd recommend.

After contacting Lou Who through Angie's List I received a prompt email from the office asking me to call the office and coordinate a service visit. I called, set up the appointment and a rep came out when scheduled. That said, I was promised a quote later the same day, never heard anything that day or the next. I called the office 2 days later and left a voicemail with my contact info again and have never heard anything back. I've since had the issue addressed through another provider. Although the technician was on time for the appointment and pleasant during his assessment I do not recommend Lou Who based on the fact that no one from the business has contacted me with either a repair estimate or replacement cost.

The blower went out on my central Hand A unit so no warm or cold air would circulate. The tech arrived - confirmed that I had a bad blower motor and ordered the replacement from carrier. He arrived back on site the next day, installed the new motor, and tested the system. The final price charged was almost exactly equal to the estimate given. The tech was extremely polite and knowledgable.

Two technicians came and installed the system. It took about 7 hours including lunch. The morning after the installation the system seemed to have a problem, The system did not heat nor cool. However Lou Who followed up promptly and sent a senior technician who fixed the problem. Apparently a switch was not set correctly. The heating part of the system works good now although weather was to cold to give us a chance to check the cooling function of the system.

The crew did an efficient and professional job of moving the duct work in my basement from one side of a support beam to the other side. It took some creative thinking to make it work and they did it! Great job and will definitely use them again!

Prompt, efficient, and courteous. I have used them twice, and both times, I've found them to be capable in addressing the issues with my heat pump and AC units. On the last visit, I was sure I needed a new system, and I even told the technician I guessed as much. He had free reign to sell me a new unit, and I wouldn't have complained or known the difference. Instead, he came back with a diagnosis of an issue for an $80 part that he had a spare for in his truck. An hour later, the house was chilling again. These are good people with solid skills, and I've recommended them to friends who have been similarly happy with their work (including one who can do AC work himself but doesn't have the time to do so).

They are responsive, cost effective, and their estimate was a third less than the others.

From Kevin coming out to give us and estimate and all the work that Issac did in the house, which wasn't easy between the almost nonexistent attic to the thick floor downstairs, to the final last fewvet covers these guys are great all the way through. They were very concerned with waking me up (I work nights) even though I told them I could sleep through anything to dealing with my two overly friendly dogs they were great.

The owner of Lou Who visited our house and gave us an estimate on the project, after talking with us about our desires and expectations. The estimate was received promptly (unlike some others who bid on the project). Upon signing the contract, they advised us when work would start--it was a reasonable length of time. They started the project on time and completed it on time as well. The workers were courteous, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. The owner of the company visited the project at least once a day to check on progress and also checked with us at the end of the project to ensure that we were happy with the finished product. We had a problem with airflow in one of the rooms, and they fixed it within one day after we called them about it. They provided free maintenance on the system for one year after installation. We now have a maintenance contract with them and I believe the price is quite reasonable. They even call us twice a year to schedule spring and fall maintenance. Additionally, the office staff is great--friendly, courteous and efficient. They registered the system for us and provided all of the paperwork we needed for the energy tax credit. Bottom line--they're a great company to do business with and I can't recommend them highly enough.
