After getting no satisfaction from Lisa my wife once again called the 3rd. Time Trucking LCC number and got you guessed it Lisa yet again. No one knew of Tracy but again a less that courteous attitude was displayed and threats were issued. My wife and I relented and paid the driver the $360.30 (it took less that 24 hours for them to cash that check). We pointed out the problem area and he told us that there may be some uneven spots in the pour but it should be fairly smooth. The product delivered looks more like rejected material from the cement plant near by and the job was not even close to solving the problems at hand. It would appear that BJ has hacked the listing for 3rd. Time. We have pictures of the work preformed that can be shared if needed.
Description of Work: On April 15th 2013 while working with our local contractor / handyman getting the house ready to go on the market my wife asked him if he knew of a reputable firm that could get some gravel on the drive and fill in some of the problem areas near the road. He recommended 3rd. Time Trucking LCC out of Bunker Hill West Virginia as being reasonable and doing a complete job. Using the contact number which was later verified using Yellow USA Pages on the internet my wife contacted 3rd. Time Trucking and spoke to a Tracy who answered the phone. Tracy said that they could deliver a load of gravel and spread it to cover the troubled areas. . Quote over the phone was $172.06. They would be there before 5 pm that same day. My wife delighted with the deal agreed. Our contractor was with my wife while the call was completed and even commented on the fact that he knew they were a good company to do business with and that was a fair price. Around 4 pm. April 15th. A truck #971 pulled up into the drive with the load of “gravel”. The driver presented the bill from BJ Hauling & Excavating CO., Inc. also out of Bunker Hill Lic.#WV001930 and a bill for 17.43 T of CR8 gravel for a cost of $360.30. My wife called the number on the invoice which was different than 3rd. Time Trucking LCC and spoke to Lisa who was less than polite when she told her that the job had been outsourced to them and if we did not accept the delivery we would be charged $60 an hour for the time spent by the driver and truck.
