Description of Work: I needed to replace my car radio after the factory radio started having problems. The dealership wanted almost $500 to replace it, so I went to Solar Steve's to see if that could replace it for less. It seemed as if it was going to be an easy process, but they ran into some problems in hooking the new radio up to the car antenna. After 3 trips and about 8 hours of work they finally got the thing working. I could tell it was a learning experience for them because they struggled to get the new radio working. This is not their primary service of business so I tried to stay patient as they worked hard to make sure I was happy. Even thought it took a little longer than expected, In the end everything worked out and I am pleased with my new Radio

+ -1 moreI purchased the item 12/11/2014 and the salesman gave me an installation date of 12/23/2014. When I returned to have the mirror installed, the salesman informed me that they had received the wrong part. They cancelled on the second installation date because of bad weather. They gave me a third installation date but told me I would have to leave my car overnight at their location, at a shopping mall. Finally, they installed the mirror on the 2/11/2015. On that day, installation took longer than they said it would. However, the quality of the their work is excellent. If you must have a quick installation, Solar Steve's may not be the best option. If, however, you want a high quality installation and are willing to be patient, they are a good choice.
Description of Work: Sale and installation of aftermarket NAV mirrorwith backup camera.
