He was able to provide multiple designs (roof/no roof) and was able to handle multiple complications from the material supplier without issue. Deck was still completed in two weeks. Very detail oriented and has a lot of experience.

My wife hired HRUBIK Construction for two projects. The first was to relocate and rebuild a 17 step staircase into our basement and the second was to remodel our on-suite bathroom. The bathroom remodel included demo of original bathroom, relocating plumbing, electrical and lighting, as well as installing an extra large solid surface shower, glass shower door, free-standing tub, new double vanity and toilet. He also installed in-floor heating and a new tile floor. It also involved closing up one doorway and installing another for better flow. We would recommend John for several reasons: Most importantly, once he began our project, it was his top priority until it was complete. He was here every day unless his subcontractorâ s schedule made it impossible. 2. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and is a bit of a perfectionist at that. 4. My wife found John very easy to talk to, and he always listened to her questions, concerns and suggestions. 5. SheI felt completely comfortable leaving John and his team in our home if she had to be out. 6. John was great to keep the construction debris cleaned up and hauled off throughout the weeks of work. And finally, we are very happy with the way both projects turned out. And although we donâ t anticipate any problems because of his care and attention to details, he assured us that he would correct any future problems that were the direct result of his construction. If you are looking for a honest builder with integrity, who takes pride in the work he does, then I think you would be happy with John HRUBIK.

John was extremely professional but also very personable. We chose Hrubik because out of all the contractors we were looking at he was confident and straightforward. We had a contractor quit at the beginning of the job. Hrubik was able to swoop in and pick up the pieces for us. We are very grateful for the hard work and our deck looks amazing.

John was very professional in helping us plan our sunroom. He was easy to work with and was very attentive to our wants and needs. He took a personal interest in all the work being done and was a perfectionist in all details of the construction . He did a great job in constructing our sunroom and it turned out to be a beautiful addition to our home. We would highly recommend him and his firm.

This renovation was a lot of different tasks in a large basement apartment that had been water damaged. Mr Hrubik showed up on time for the estimate, gave me an accurate written estimate, began the job when he said he would and completed ahead of my expectation. The work is wonderful, better than I thought it could ever be. He is professional, works fast, and pays attention to even the tiniest detail. He does things the "right way, the first time. You can't go wrong if you hire him.

John & his employees were attentive to our needs, offered helpful ideas to finalize plans and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. And they were very conscious of demolition "dust" and potential damage to our hardwood floors. They were careful to shield other household areas and were always sweeping up/cleaning up to manage the debris generation really well. I would hire them back in a heartbeat! In fact, I asked him back for the Springtime when I move on to phase 2 myself!

We needed minor repair work done around a door and in Bridgeport WV, good luck finding someone to do the work. We found Hrubik Construction and they responded fast, kept their word, charged a reasonable rate, did the work as promised and were professional. Given a recent disastrous experience with another contractor, finding Hrubik was a breath of fresh air. John will always be the first person I call when I want to do a renovation or have a project that he would have expertise in doing.

I posted on Home Advisor the job I needed done and Mr Hrubik called me scheduling an appoitment. Mr Hrubik DID NOT CALL sharing he would be late or to reschedule. In my books this not a way to run a business!!!

We had a bad experience w/a previous contractor, so we were very concerned this time. John and crew put our concerns to rest. Once the contract was signed, he was timely and efficient, taking advantage of every nice workday possible. Our porch was a mess...three weeks later our front entrance and porch are something we can be proud of! I would recommend John wholeheartedly; we anticipate additional home repairs next spring and John will be the first one we call! THANKS!

I found a rotted section of my front porch roof. i sent an email out to him via home advisor and got a phone call within hours. he came up and did a free estimate that day. then came in the next day and did all the work. he was quick, very nice, professional, thorough, and reasonable. i will definitely call him the next time we need anyconstruction work.

John is extremely professional. He is fast, thorough, and always follows through. He needed to replace some rotten siding on my house -- a difficult job because of how irregular the rotted parts were. He also had great workers who ended up painting the replaced areas. I would hire John again, should I need anything else finished. I am so glad to have found -- finally -- not only someone who is willing to work on my house, but also someone I can trust absolutely. I thank John for all he did to make the process pleasant and professional.

Built me a beautiful detached garage with log siding to match my log house. John handled the city well, and the work was done as quickly as was possible. Very happy with his communication and ability to accommodate changes to the plan, and his prices were fair. He's a true professional.

He came out, took some measurements and pictures. Said he would get back to me by the end of the week. I went to his house to measure for flooring. He said he was backed up and would get back to me by the next week. That was a month ago and still no word.

The owner, John Hrubik, was absolutely professional, dependable, straight forward, honest, and attentive to our needs regarding the construction. His personnel were always on time, neat, and reliable. He constructed the most amazing balcony and no stone was left unturned. His price was very reasonable and the materials used were of an outstanding quality. I would definitely recommend him and use him if I ever needed anything built!
