He invited my wife and I to walk through the inspection with him. It took about two hours. He did a very good job explaining everything and what to look for. He was able to find several problems that I didn't see on our realtor tour. He had an infrared camera to show energy efficiency of the home. Also had electronic moisture detection equipment for the basement.. He was very professional and experienced. We learned a lot. We had a few issues with his service even though he was a lot better than an inspector I used in the past. He didn't climb on the roof to inspect the chimney or roof. He said they looked good from the attic perspective. I don't think there are any problems but I would like to be sure. He forgot his nice camera and ended up using his cell phone camera to take pictures for the report. Also it took 9 days to get the report and we even pestered him about it.

At the time of the inspection. The inspector did not have his business registered with the State not have a local business license. Additionally, for the repairs he found, he recommended using a company for which his wife was the estimator.
