Description of Work: Heritage performed two separate jobs. The first was to replace flooring and a portion of the ceiling damaged due to a water leak, remove wallpaper and paint walls and to convert a bedroom into a laundry room. Heritage performed this job very well although there are one or two pieces of the hardwood flooring that has not held up over time and needs to be repaired or replaced. Based on the outcome of the first job, we hired Heritage to replace the flooring and to paint in another portion of our house. This entailed installing a sub-floor and the hardwood floor. This raised the level of the floor approximately 4 inches and required the raising of a set of patio doors. We agreed to the purchase of new patio doors due to age & condition of the original doors and asked if screens could also be purchased. Unfortunately, the screens could not be installed due to the type of door/method of installation of the patio doors. We were told that someone from Heritage would be back to pick up the screens and to return them (this was in February 2015). It is now July 2015. No one has ever picked up the screens and we wound up being charged for them. So we now have a useless pair of screens. We really wanted to like this firm because we have multiple projects to do in our home and wanted a contractor who was trustworthy and reliable. We frankly feel that we were taken advantage of by this firm.

Description of Work: Repaired roof and interior damage caused by leak. Replaced kitchen ceiling and trim. Painted walls and repaired cabinets. Replaced carpet. Replaced roof.

 + 0 moreThe work took off paint from the removal of the backsplash which they wouldn't repair. They disconnected water to do work and didn't reconnect the water.
Description of Work: They took old cabinets out and put new cabinets in.
