 + 0 morecouldn't have asked for a better job as he went the extra mile to be sure I was satisfied with all aspects of his work. He has a tremendous knowledge of working with flooring and giving the customer exactly what he wants. would hire him again for any wood working that I might need in the future.
Description of Work: removed section of water damaged hardwood flooring and replaced with new hardwood, sanded all contiguous floors and then re stained all of the hardwood so that it would all be the same. hardwood that was replaced had a lot of angles that had to be precisely cut and wove into the old flooring. A super job

 + 0 moreHi! I'm here to recommend Don with Don Kuestner's Hardwood Floors. We had an unbelievably great experience after selecting him. His cost of service was in the middle of other professionals we were considering. We had moderate water damage to our original hardwood and decided to replace all of the flooring. After three estimates, we ultimately selected Don due to his professionalism, extensive knowledge and examples of previous jobs. He removed the damaged floors quickly and with minimal mess. Our new hardwood is absolutely beautiful and we are so glad we made the choice we did! Everything was accomplished in a timely manor and Don was personable and respectful.  + -1 moreWe had wanted to replace the carpet due to it's age and wear but couldn't find a suitable replacement. The carpet was a unique pattern that we couldn't find and discovered to have it duplicated was impossible. We discussed the situation for many months and finally came to the conclusion to call Don and have him install a new wood floor. We couldn't be happier, every day I look at a beautiful wood floor when I walk in to the main living area. We made the perfect choice with a great addition to our home. Don does a great job with his knowledge and skill working with woods, his talent and attention to detail are a rare commodity. I would gladly have him work for me any time and have recommended him to other friends who are all equally pleased with their final results.
Description of Work: We had Don install a new hardwood floor in our great room. The room is quite large with step down and irregular angles, approximately 29'x40'. The room was originally carpeted for the last 40 years.

Description of Work: We purchased Bruce solid hardwood flooring for our living room(24 ft. by 25 ft). My sister had recommended Don and we contacted him for an estimate. His estimate was less than Home Depot's. He always responded to phone calls, arrived on time and finished the job in 3 days. The flooring is hickory and Don painstakingly laid the flooring out so the pattern flowed well. Our room is BEAUTIFUL. He will be back to finish our kitchen and dining room in the near future.
