+ -1 moreNot on time, we had to wait. If finish had been applied per directions would have been a good job.
Description of Work: I installed flooring in a house I am building. John sanded the floors properly even though it took a lot longer than he said it would. When he applied the finish it was apparent that the finish was too thin. After he applied three coats of too thin finish he said it was done and would last for years. One year later the wood is moving because it was not sealed properly. The finish is so thin that it is already wearing off. The main problem here is that to save a few dollars he thinned the finish down so much that it could not do it's job.

+ -1 moreExcellent work. But it took awhile to get an appointment. I think John is in such demand (probably because he does very good work) that it is a little frustrating. The carpet was removed and taken away, and the refinishing project went very well. Clean, neat and professional work.
Description of Work: We had wall-to-wall carpeting removed and the underlying hardwood floors refinished.
