They provide excellent service. They were here on time everyday. He gave great advice and finished the job on-time. They also cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them

He called me to plan the project, then showed up on time with all supplies (I supplied paint). He went above and beyond in terms of prepping -- found cracks and flaws I didn't see and corrected them before painting. The room was extremely clean, in spite of having to sand plaster/patching. I was very pleased with the outcome and would use this company again.

Arrived on schedule to provide estimate and to do the work. Was concientious about doing the job properly, concerned in pleasing customer, meticulous, professional, excellent trim and cutting. Dan and his assistant Brett were very pleasant. They cleaned up and removed their tools and supplies after each day. The walls look brand new. We are very pleased with the results and entire experience.

Dan Anderson had painted here before and I asked him for a bid on walls/ceiling of lower level bath and walls of one bedroom. He emailed me the bid and we scheduled a date. He arrives early in the morning which I like, around 8 a.m. He is prompt. He is very conscientious about prepping the walls. I have him get the Sherwin Williams paint since he receives such a great discount which gets passed on to the customer. He takes pride in his work. I am very pleased with the appearance of the bathroom and bedroom. When I have future re-decorating needs, I will not hesitate to contact him for a bid!

We purchased an Angies List coupon for the painting of one room for $100. Paul contacted us immediately to schedule a time, we were quite slow getting back to him, but when we did we quickly schedule an appointment. Paul followed up before the scheduled date to make sure we had the paint (and to see if we wanted him to purchase it for us with his contractor discount). He was very patient with our indecision. He came on the morning of a snow storm and took the time to notify us that he was stuck in traffic. He completed two coats of two paint colors (pink and white) in our daughters room. The room looks wonderful, Paul did an excellent job taping and cutting. It is a very professional paint job and Paul was pleasant to work with. We would definitely use him again.

We are very pleased with the results. He was very responsive, punctual, clean and professional, as well as a pleasure to have around the house.

He arrived promptly at the time he said and set up to protect all other surfaces in the kitchen. He applied 2 coats of paint and did it neatly and carefully. This was not an easy kitchen to do as we have a wood ceiling. Dan did an excellent job.

Overall we were very impressed with the quality of work, Dan's attention to detail and how well he cleaned up, no mess or fuss! We will have Dan back in the Spring to paint several ceilings. He is a master at his craft and very easy to work with. Thanks Dan for the great job, Bill and Mary.

Dan Anderson's work on our house was excellently performed. He always conducted himself professionally and with great care and courtesy. At the end of each day he left the rooms he had worked in clean and ready for us to use. In particular, he did some sheetrock repair and repainting of a two story stairwell and upstairs hallway where several sheetrock screws had popped out near the ceiling. We are very pleased with the results and we intend to use Dan Anderson painting for any future painting jobs we have. We give Dan Anderson painting the highest possible rating for workmanship, courtesy and cleanliness.

While it took a month to schedule due to a heavy response to an Angie's List 'deal', we were called very soon after purchasing the 'deal' and booked a day and time w/Dan. Very good communication, on time as promised and high quality work. We had Dan bid our exterior as well, but have not committed to that as of today.

Dan came out and gave my job a look, which included both painting and drywall. There were some communication problems with the bid not being received in a timely manner, but Dan made sure to correct the problem. From a painting perspective, the bid was in line, although slightly higher than other bids I received, which I expected.

The whole process was very nicely done. Daniel contacted me to set up an appointment and explained options. He said we could buy the paint ourselves or he could get it at a wholesale price. He showed up right at the appointed time. He moved furniture, removed light fixtures, and taped and covered everything in plastic sheeting. He filled in some dents and repaired a crack in the ceiling. He came back the next day to do the painting. The paint job is excellent. He cleaned up everything, moved the furniture back, and vacuumed the floor. He was very pleasant to work with.

It was a great experience and Im VERY happy with his services. He did an excellent job of painting a light brown over a very dark blue. We just had brand new carpet put in and he was very conscientious about covering the carpet and wearing booties when he had to walk on it. The work was done as agreed, done efficiently, and with great quality. There was one area where he missed a spot ever so slightly. It was an area less than an inch between the closet door molding and the shower wall - in essence it was an almost impossible place to reach. I would've NEVER noticed the sliver of blue paint that remained unless he told me. You have to be standing in the shower, in a certain place to even see. It is so minor that I doubt I would've ever noticed it. That honesty and integrity is unusual and so much appreciated. Great experience!

Anderson Painting has been so accommodating. I could not fit the painting into our family's schedule and they were more than accommodating in letting us postpose beyond the coupon expiration date. Wish everyone were so nice!!

We responded to an Angie's List Big Deal to paint a room for $99. Dan called us within a day to assess our job, provide an updated quote and schedule the work. We wanted two rooms painted, including the ceilings (extra). We also needed additional repair work requiring filling holes, mudding, and sanding (extra). Dan told us the labor and material costs up front and delivered according to the estimate. He was here two days as planned with an assistant. They were considerate of our home, appropriately covering pathways and keeping things neat and clean. We are very satisfied with the quality of all the work. The cost was a bit higher than similar work we've had performed.

Dan's auto-response to my purchase promised to contact every coupon buyer within 1 day. He was true to his word for us. We weren't in any hurry to paint our kitchen so it was close to 2 months before he was scheduled for our job. During this time I had several questions about paint selection and finish, and Dan always e-mailed or called within a day of a question. The paint that we picked out was not a brand that Dan recommended, but he was able to get a paint chip and have the color matched. Dan also clearly explained the paint pricing Dan arrived on time and inspected our kitchen. It was not as simple a job as expected (is it ever?) Part of the room was fake paneling that had been painted over, some walls had the paneling from floor to ceiling and some had the paneling installed as wainscoting. Dan explained that the shiny paneling surface would need priming, which meant primer and possibly more paint. There were also a couple additional surface repairs--not huge, but not included in the coupon price. The final result is a VERY BRIGHT, orange-toned kitchen. Having always lived in places with white walls, we find it a little overpowering! But the color is our choice and Dan just did what we asked. Dan said that, if he'd seen the room beforehand he would have suggested some different strategies (like leaving the wainscoting white and just painting the upper walls). Dan was great to work with--punctual, clean, very communicative. My one gripe is with the coupon system, not with the Dan's job. I've purchased a couple coupons like this where the project is a little more complicated than the coupon allows for, and things would go much smoother if the contractor could view the jobsite and make some recommendations before showing up to work. JANUARY--It's a couple months since the kitchen was painted and we've been noticing small paint drips here and there on the woodwork. Not hugely obvious or we would have seen them sooner, but a disappointment.

Everything went great from beginning to end. I was very pleased with the results. I would recommend Dan to anyone.

Can't say enough good things about Dan. Very professional, fun to talk to, and did a super, super job. So nice to deal with someone who not only likes what he does, but does it well. Arrived on time. Finished very close to the time he said he would be done and completely cleaned up the room before he left.

Dan Anderson is very responsive, he called within minutes of my purchasing the great deal. Asks the right questions, recommends Sherwin Williams paints but will use others. I really like the Sherwin Williams brand and if you give Dan the color number, he purchases and gets a very significant discount which he passes on to the homeowner. He called the day before our appointment to confirm and arrived the next morning right on time. Very efficient worker and extremely tidy about his work and clean-up. Does a fabulous, conscientious job with wall repair. Would definitely hire again for painting jobs and have asked him to bid on another bedroom and a bathroom. I recommend his work highly.

Daniel showed up at the exact time he stated. He was totally prepared and did a fabulous job! He followed up with confirming calls and had everything he needed to do the job. I will definitely use him again as he's professional and did the job in a timely fashion and at a very reasonable rate. I have already had him quote me on the rest of the lower level which, again, the price is very reasonable.

Anderson Painting had an Angie's list special on interior painting. I had some questions, but did not send them out until the last day of the special which was a Sunday. Dan Anderson honored the Angie's List special price and in fact applied more than one discount even though the questions were not answered nor the decision made until after the special. That was just the first step of a very rewarding experience. We had always done the wall painting ourselves. What a surprise to find out a good, professional painter like Dan tries to get the underlying walls in the best shape possible to display the quality paint to an advantage. They fill in the cracks and nicks and sand them smooth. We even had a problem wall with a section that had been replaced or worked on extensively. I didn't really notice it until Dan pointed it out and said he could mud it out and sand it to make it much more presentable. He and his other guy just made the walls look absolutely fabulous - I can't wait to move into my beautiful new town home. What a difference a quality paint job, with such attention to detail makes. I would definitely recommend Anderson Painting of Hudson, WI to anyone.

After doing much of a remodel job myself, (at least the unskilled parts - removing soffits in the kitchen and closet walls in the front entry), I needed someone to complete the painting for me. Dan provided me with a detailed and very competitive quote and was able to start the work to meet our schedule. Dan removed wall paper from the dining room, painted the vaulted ceiling in our family room, and primed and painted all the walls on the main floor. Since wall paper had been removed from the main floor (some of which I had done) Dan made repairs where needed and used oil base primer to prep the walls for the finish coat painting. Then Dan applied two coats of paint on the walls and made additional repairs to fix wall imperfections betweeen the coats. We are very happy with the finished product! In addition we were very happy with the process of getting the work done. Dan kept us informed of when he would be working on our project and also clearly described how he planned to complete the work. I would highly recommend Dan for any painting related work!

The process was as painless as possible for us, and Dan was very careful to clean up all the equipment at the end of each day. He's a very detail-oriented person and made sure that everything was just right and up to our expectations at the end of the project. I would recommend his services to any of my friends and family.

With one week to go before putting our house on the market, our realtor suggested to re-paint the entry. We certainly were not going to try and tackle it ourselves with a split level vaulted ceiling. I called and left a frantic message on the Friday before Labor Day that we need help ASAP. Dan called me back shortly thereafter, we talked about what we needed done in the house, and if we were available, he offered to come do the work on Monday (Labor Day). Absolutely! We talked about pricing, colors, and the plan for Monday starting at 8am. Dan was here right on time. We did a walk-through of what we needed done and Dan immediately got to work. He is fast, efficient, accommodating, and a really hard worker. Great quality workmanship all-around. When it came time to pay, Dan walked me through the charges (including the Angie's List discount), showed me receipts for the supplies - all was exactly as expected - no hidden charges! On top of everything, Dan is just a really nice guy. Everything about this project turned out wonderfully. Hire Dan and don't look back - you will have a great experience. Thank you, Dan!

I hired Dan to paint - he did SO much more than that! We had just moved out and are fixing up some things in order to rent out our place so there were some places where I had patched walls/needed to patch walls. Dan was there painting while I was at work and when I got home he had also sanded and painted over my patches; as well as patching some spots for me, sanding and painting them. I couldn't believe it - so unexpected and greatly appreciated. Dan responded to my inquiry within 24 hours and was able to schedule a time to come check out the walls I needed painted within 2 days; the work was scheduled for the next week which was so much quicker than I ever imagined. Prices were very reasonable and he was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be using his services again in the future and have already recommended him to others.
