COUNTRY FIREPLACE

We've had trouble with our gas fireplace since we moved into our home. One particular part, the thermocouple, has been replace at least twice every year for the last 3 1/2 years. This company installed the fireplace and I do not fault them for the part failure and a few times they even replaced it at no charge but when we called them this past November 2008 to once again come and repair, they did not come out and many times did not return our calls. We've had an extremely cold winter and need this fireplace to help heat a very large room. When they finally came out in January 2009, they replaced the part and still did not get the fireplace working. The technician said he would let his boss know what he thought was needed and would give us a call. No such phone call ever came. We contacted another local Fireplace Company who came out the same day and got our fireplace running. I called Country Fireplace to let them know that someone else would be servicing us and they said "Good Luck". I do not expect free service but I do expect good customer service.
