Description of Work: The first bill I got had a charge of $200 for copper pipe, I looked at the installation and there were no copper pipes used. He used plastic pipes. When I asked him about it he still charged me $200 for the plastic pipe. He charged $1425 for labor. There were two men at my house for approximately 5 hours.

 + -1 moreIt was timely, also professional. They worked around my schedule and did it all in one day. They were neat and clean, I can't complain about anything. The work was done under a old warranty that I had, it was from a different company.
Description of Work: The provider replaced the faucet and they also drain pipe on the bathroom sink at no charge. They also installed a water heater

 + -1 moreThings have not gone very good so far. They are having trouble getting the parts. The water heater will cost about $700 and to get it installed will cost about $3,000. I think they are a good outfit.

 + -1 moreThey were very good. I did have some slight issues. It was one of those things where I was not as overwhelmed. They had to come back several times to do things. My sink faucets are the pull out type and are supposed to drop all the way down. But there was something in the way. The plumbing was in the way. They put it all in. So the faucets shouldn't have been hitting the pipes. So just little things, nothing major.
Description of Work: We used Powell Plumbing for plumbing. It was for the whole house. They did all the rough plumbing and all the finish plumbing.

 + -1 morePlumber called and came 15 minutes early and started work right away. Also, needed them to replace the pressure valve on the water heater (not reason for original service call). Was pleasantly surprised that they had the extra part on the truck. Was pleased with the overall quality of the work preformed.
Description of Work: Replaced leaking shutoff valve before the meter and installed ball valves before and after the meter. Also, replaced a leakey pressure valve on the water heater.

Description of Work: Powell has done quite a bit of work on our house which was built in 1954. When we remoded our kitchen they moved the Kitchen sink and installed the dishwasher. The day after our new cupboards were installed they were there at 8 or 9 am to install the dishwasher. Thus I was able to wash all our dishes and put them in the new cupboards. When we first bought the house they moved the washing machine from the basement to the kitchen area. They did the plumbing when we had a walkin tub installed in our master bedroom bathroom. It replaced a sheet metal shower stall. They replaced our hot water heater when the old one died. They replaced the shower faucet in our main bathroom when the old one only produced cold water. Powell Plumbing has worked well with other providers such as the carpenter, electrician, and ceramic tile people. All of our work as done in a timely manner and they did not leave a mess. We will continue to use Powell Plumbing whenever a plumber is needed.

Description of Work: I was quoted a pice over the phone. They sent their guy out with the water heater, he called before he arrived. He arrived on time, did a great job at a decent price.  + -1 moreOwner Kevin and his 2 employees were on the job at time expected. They protected flooring and walls from possible waste. All discarded pipe was removed new pipe installed and entire area cleaned up by end of job day. All were very professional courteous and did a great job.
Description of Work: Removed black cast iron and galvanized sewer waste pipe in basement and installed new PVC waste pipe.

Description of Work: They actually put in a new garbage disposal. They looked at the pump and fixed that. They replaced a shower head. They did many different jobs.

 + -1 moreProffessional Service all the way, kept appointments, schedule's, meeting our completion timelines smoothly and passing all inspections with above average committment to providing quality service. They may quote higher costs, however their service is absolutely outstanding! They are honest as well. When they completed our well, they had quoted for upto 50' and when the well was only 39' they refunded for the extra 11' they had quoted. How many contractors send you back a check? I wish we had done the original plumbing contract for the entire project with them. I will continue to reccommend them to anyone whom asks about plumbing or well or pump work.
Description of Work: Did the entire Well System, Total project. Completed interior plumbing as needed behind initial bad start of different plumbers for entire building project. Two Bathrooms, Kitchen, Laundry.
